1964 Buick Riviera 2 Door Hardtop

New in our Pleasanton showroom, we are pleased to present this updated and slightly modified 1964 Buick Riviera, outfitted in its original Desert Beige over correct Fawn vinyl interior. Recently updated with new lifters and top end just 2,000 miles ago, this beauty has held up very well despite its restoration taking place more than a dozen years ago. Its 425 cubic inch "Wildcat 465" growls to life instantly, and its performance will not disappoint.

For the 1964 model year, Buick replaced the motor from a 401 to the "new" 425 V-8 "Wildcat 465", allowing it to pump out 340 horses at 4400 rpm, but more impressively an astounding 465 foot-pounds of torque at 2800 rpm. The "cool" factor does not stop under the hood, the rest of the Riviera is just as nice. Equipped with one of the finer interiors on the market at the time, Buick upholstered the comfortable seats with a very high quality vinyl that could easily be mistaken for leather. Courtesy lights were thoughtfully place throughout, and all of the controls were very logically laid out and ahead of its time in many respects.

Both the look and feel of this classic have been updated with American Racing wheels-- 18" on the front and, and 20" on the rear. Wrapped in low profile 245/40 tires on the front, while running Z-rated 20's in the rear, you will truly appreciate the upgrade in drivability and the more modern appearance---without being overly ostentatious.
