Show Quality 1963 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible

New to our Fairfield showroom is this show quality 1963 Pontiac Bonneville 2 Door Convertible with red exterior paint and a burgundy leather interior. It features the factory 389 cid V-8 engine under the hood with a 350 Turbo automatic transmission, although the owner still has the original “Slim Jim” 2-speed auto tranny as well. This one is very highly optioned with a power top, power windows/brakes/steering, premium factory wheels, a heavy duty sway bar and a hidden modern sound system. It has also been extensively restored with NOS parts, a dual exhaust, roller rockers, and 8 Lug wheels with period-correct 235/75R-14 American Classic steel radial white wall Tires.

Extensive Frame-Off Restoration w/ $55k in Receipts

The current owner purchased this 1963 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible approximately 13 years ago, right after it underwent a complete frame-off restoration. This is a PHS documented vehicle as well and the original transmission is available if the next owner would like to switch it back to numbers-matching. Additionally, the 389 V-8 was professionally rebuilt within the last 5,000 miles and this one drives incredible; it’s going to be very hard to leave this one parked in the garage.

In terms of actual condition, this 1963 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible still shines like the sun with its beautiful, eye-catching exterior. The paint and the chrome work are still at an extremely high level, and the interior definitely impresses as well. As you can see from the photographs, auxiliary temperature and water gauges were added and there’s a Sirius XM radio hidden in the dash with an iPod port. So this one definitely combines the best of old and new alike in its current state.
