Outstanding 1962 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster

New to our Fairfield showroom is this outstanding 1962 Chevrolet Corvette 2 Door Convertible with Tuxedo Black exterior paint and a black interior. It features the factory 327 CI V-8 engine under the hood with a period correct Muncie 4-speed manual transmission, plus it is very nicely equipped for modern driving. This one is in tremendous original shape as well and it performs like a brand new sports car, which is why it’s won dozens of Bay Area trophies over the past few decades.

Only 10,000 Miles on Factory Rebuilt Engine

The current owner of this 1962 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster purchased it from us here at Specialty Sales almost two decades ago and he informs us that it’s given him 20 great years. You may think that this triple black Vette looks somewhat familiar, and that’s because it has been taking first and second place finishes in regional car shows for a large portion of its life. The current owner is reaching the point where he can’t travel for shows as often though and he decided to buy a brand new 2016 Corvette instead, which creates a fantastic opportunity for one lucky collector.
In terms of actual condition, this 1962 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster is about as close to perfection as you can get. While it is an older restoration, it only shows the slightest of imperfections from aging and it really presents well. Additionally, this one is highly original and everything is numbers-matching on it except for the transmission, which was replaced with a period correct Muncie back in the late 60’s. It drives amazingly though without a single squeak or rattle; this is a truly phenomenal vehicle.
