Phenomenal 1962 Chevrolet Corvette

Up for sale today is this 1962 Chevrolet Corvette 2 Door Coupe with Maroon exterior paint and a black interior. It features a ZZ4 350 CI V-8 engine under the hood with a 4-speed manual transmission, plus it was upgraded to disk brakes in the early 90s. This former race car is in excellent shape as well and it may be one of the most complete drivers that weve ever seen. It is in excellent condition.

Former Race Car Restored in the Late 70s

The current owner of this 1962 Chevrolet Corvette purchased it way back in 1973. He claims that it was a former race car, and that he fully restored it over 4 years between 1977 and 1981. It was then used as an occasional driver over the next decade and in 1997, it received a factory ZZ4, 355HP engine from the dealership. Since that time, it has been driven less and less, so the owner decided that it was finally time to let someone else enjoy it.

In terms of actual condition, this 1962 Chevrolet Corvette does show some signs of natural aging since the restoration is 33+ years old. It is in exceptional shape for that time period, however, and the next owner wouldnt think twice about showing this muscle car. Additionally, it still roars to life when prompted and this classic handles beautifully out on the open roadit would be hard to ask for more.
