Imported Classic VW from Germany

While Specialty Sales takes pride in bringing exotic classics to our showroom floor, this rare 1959 Volkswagen Beetle even took us a bit by surprise. This gorgeous vehicle is forest green with a crme interior and as you can see from the photographs, it is in excellent overall condition. It is powered by the original 1192 CCM in-line 4-cylinder engine with an automatic transmission and it is an excellent daily driver with ample acceleration and great fuel economy.

This 1959 Volkswagen Beetle also has quite an interesting history to it; this vehicle was actually brought to the US by a missionary who fell in love with it overseas. Once returning home, it was restored and eventually donated to the People's Church and sold in one of their charity auctions. The next owner possessed the vehicle for about ten years before deciding that it was finally time to allow another person the pleasure of driving this beauty.
