Simply Stunning 1956 Ford Thunderbird Roadster

New to our Fairfield showroom is this simply stunning 1956 Ford Thunderbird 2 Door Removable Hardtop with Colonial White exterior paint and a matching Fiesta White factory interior. This gorgeous vehicle features a factory upgraded 312 cid V-8 engine under the hood with a Holley 4000 four barrel carburetor and an automatic transmission, each of which may or may not be original to this desirable classic. Unfortunately, not a lot is known about its history, but it looks almost completely original and the VIN shows that this was a rare, highly optioned example.

Highly Optioned & Kept in Original Form

The current owner of this 1956 Ford Thunderbird Roadster informs us that this one came with an upgraded 312 cid engine from the factory (225 @ 4600 rpm, 324 lbs.-ft. @ 2600 rpm) as white on white with the continental package and many other extras. It has a port hole removable hardtop that still works nicely plus features like the exterior vent and factory radio are still in working order. It comes with five Kelsey Hayes wire wheels as well and this one is ready to enjoy; it’s easily one of the nicest originals we’ve had the pleasure of test driving.

In terms of actual condition, this 1956 Ford Thunderbird Hardtop has exceptional body lines and only slight wear to the exterior paint. The chrome and metal work are also at a very high level as is the factory interior. There are certainly some signs of aging present but nothing to detract from the overall beauty and prestige of this hard to find example.
