Very Impressive 1956 Ford F100 1/2 Ton Pickup
The next classic beauty for sale in our Pleasanton showroom is this spectacular 1956 Ford F100 1/2 Ton 2 Door Pickup with blue exterior paint and a grey interior. This resto-mod was built the right way as well with a 350 cid Corvette LT1 V-8 engine, an Edelbrock polished carburetor and manifold, powder coated headers, a MSD aluminum radiator, a Chevelle front suspension, a 4 link rear suspension with adjustable coil over shocks and an automatic transmission. This one also comes equipped with power steering, disc brakes, a polished aluminum Tread Brite bed, a 15 gallon fuel tank and premium wheels. It is a beautiful pickup that really gets down the road in a hurry.
High-End Resto/Mod Built for Sizzling Performance
This 1956 Ford F100 was completely restored back in 2006 with only one goal in mind; to look like your grandfather’s prized pickup while moving like your father’s muscle car. The current owner purchased it back in 1990 and has lovingly cared for it ever since, but finally decided to turn it into something special with a full mechanical overhaul to squeeze out every ounce of power this build had to give. After extensive testing, it created 435 horsepower at the crank during a Dyno test, and this one is really a pleasure to drive on the open road. Great acceleration, great handling and stopping power- it has it all in spades.
In terms of its present condition, this 1956 Ford F100 pickup still performs admirably since it has only been driven about 3,000 miles in the past ten years. The paint and body work all look above average as well, with only the slightest of visible imperfections. The interior is also super-clean and nicely equipped for modern driving with updated gauges, steering, etc. The aluminum bed is also in great shape.
Lots of Muscle for the Current Asking Price
Overall, this 1956 Ford F100 pickup is a tremendous powerhouse and it takes quite a few people by surprise once they hear the roar of the motor. If you’re looking for an impressive sleeper that’s built nice enough to show almost anywhere, then you must come see this one in person before it’s snatched up for good. It’s priced to sell quickly and it will not last long.
