Impressive 1955 Chevrolet Nomad Wagon

New to our Redwood City showroom is this impressive 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Nomad 3 Door Wagon with red exterior paint and a matching red interior. It features a roaring 520ci V-8 crate engine under the hood with a turbo 400 3-speed transmission and a star shifter, plus it is nicely equipped with 4 wheel power disk brakes, power steering and numerous other performance upgrades. We are working to gather a full build sheet and will add it as soon as possible.

Over 450 Horsepower in a Sensational Build

The current owner of this 1955 Chevy Nomad Wagon had plans to completely restore it, but ultimately ended up spending far too much on the drivetrain, the frame and the suspension. With extras like Dana 60 differentials, additional leaf springs & cross supports, plus a large aluminum radiator and a transmission cooler, this gorgeous classic was built from the ground up to be a true terror on the open roads. It absolutely screams when prompted and it is an excellent foundation for a Pro Street racer or simply a great daily driver.

Then again, this 55 Nomad does have some condition issues that will need to be addresses. While the body appears to be straight and true, it could definitely use a few coats of fresh paint to bring it to an entirely different level. The interior also shows its age as a typical driver as well, so the next owner will have some tough decisions to make. While this beauty is a sensational driver as-is, the potential here is almost too great to ignore.
