Truly Immaculate 1954 MG TF Roadster

New to our Pleasanton showroom is this immaculate 1954 MG TF 2 Door Roadster with black exterior paint and a high-end red leather interior. It features a 1250 cc four-cylinder engine under the hood with a 4-speed manual transmission, and this one includes a soft top, a boot cover and side curtains as well. This prestigious and highly collectible roadster has recently undergone a complete frame-off restoration, so it is in tremendous shape and really attracts attention.

Restored to Incredibly High Standards

The current owner of this 1954 MG TF Roadster purchased it from Bonhams Auction in Scottsdale, AZ earlier this year due to its near perfect body lines, excellent finish and tremendous overall appeal. This one was restored in recent years to an extremely high standard throughout, including show quality paint, flawless chrome/metal work and a completely rebuilt drivetrain. While we do not have the receipts from the build, it is plainly obvious that the previous owner invested well in excess of the current asking price.

In terms of performance, this 1954 MG TF Roadster drives like a newer sports car. While it is not overly quick, the 1250 cc engine sounds good and has impressive acceleration for a four-cylinder. It also handles nicely as well with a very comfortable ride quality, making this a tremendous weekend driver to take in local car shows with.
