We are pleased to offer this stunning 54 Corvette Roadster (Serial# 4470).This is quite possibly the nicest 54 Corvette available on the market today!This Corvette just recently underwent a complete, no-expense-spared, frame-off restoration completed over a 9 year period.The 235 Blue Flame I6 was completely rebuilt back to original with correct cam and lifters, new cam bearing, rods and mains.Block was boiled out, magnafluxed, bore honed and cleaned.Purchased correct#241 head from Noland Adams (receipt and letter signed by N. Adams) then head was magnafluxed and had hardened seats and valves done so car can run on regular unleaded gas.Side draft Carter carburetors rebuilt and restored to original with brass tags and all new fuel lines.Correct restored dual pot air cleaners. Powerglide Automatic transmission completely gone through and restored to original with all correct parts.Torque converter rebuilt with new splines by professional machine shop (not re-sleeved).Rear-end completely gone through and restored to original with all new bearings, seals and markings.Frame was blasted, wire brushed and scraped completely clean then repainted including proper marks and numbers to proper build date.Springs were taken to Betts Springs where they were re-arched then reinstalled with correct materials between them.All new wiring from Electric Limited done to original specifications.New brakes, drums turned and all new brake lines. Front-end completely rebuilt.NOS emergency brake flasher.Heater radiator cleaned and flushed, works beautifully.Correct cast iron pulley on generator, rebuilt with correct parts, starter rebuilt with NOS solenoid.New exhaust system exactly like original.All new correct hood hardware. Original distributor, correct water pump restored.Original headlights, correct side mirror, correct rear-view mirror and base.Correct dated stamped windshield, original windshield wipers and blades.Steering wheel completely restored.Radio and speaker completely gone through and restored to original condition with correct original instructions.All gauges completely restored to original by Corvette Clocks by Roger with tag for clock.Interior all new correct, seats completely rebuilt with all correct materials, springs sanded and repainted (no rust) correct burlap bags over springs, new foam and correct upholstery. New kick panels, dash brow, and carpet.Correct completely restored to show quality side curtains with correct date stamp and bag.Correct convertible top for late 54, blasted frame and powder coated. Correct Tan canvas top with proper date stamp. Correct chrome latches.Gas tank gone through with all new lines, cover includes correct tan mohair cover.Radiator gone through flushed out and restored, all new correct hoses and hardware, including brass Harrison radiator tag to mfg date of car.All paint done to NCRSspecifications andNoland Adams Guide to Restoration. In other words, flattener used where appropriate, etc. Polo White andSportsman Red, GM engine blue are correct formula from General Motors Inc, Detroit, Michigan.Corvettes are known to have specific head markings on the various bolts that were used during their production. This car has been restored using those correctly marked bolts as originally produced.The license plate on this vehicle is correct to the date of manufacture; it was restored and registered to the car.

There are photos and receipts for everything that was done to the car. The photos are of the complete process of the body off restoration from beginning to final.

The car was photographed by Ron Kimball of Kimball Studios, renowned automotive photographer. These photos were used in advertisements by Style Checks Inc, under license and trademark from General Motors Inc. in Corvette Fever magazine (actual magazines available).
