We want to provide an update to our most valued customers regarding the current situation with COVID-19.
With the shelter in place order in effect, we have closed all three showrooms to the public. However, we have ensured all of our sales staff are able perform their jobs from home to the fullest extent. For any inquiries of any vehicle offered for sale or potential consignment, please contact the showroom you would like to reach, and our staff will be more than able to help with any information or details you require.
With our showrooms closed to the public we are adhering to a strict appointment only policy for anyone who may need to look at a vehicle or potentially consign one on site. We want to minimize as much contact, so we ask that you please commit to an appointment and that you are serious about looking at a car. If you are wanting to consign a vehicle, we ask that you send us as much information over the phone and email so we can evaluate your vehicle before you bring it down to one of our locations. You will find all relevant contact information on this email so feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.
Our service department in our Fairfield location will be fully operational as an Essential Business and will adhere to our schedule of M-F 9am - 5:30pm. For any service-related questions please give us a call at (707) 419-8209.
We sincerely appreciate your cooperation in these challenging times, and we want to thank you for your support now and over the years and look forward to serving you in the years to come.
Truly Incredible 1948 Chevrolet 3100 Stepside 1/2 Ton Pickup
The next amazing classic up for grabs in our Fairfield showroom is this gorgeous 1948 Chevrolet 3100 1/2 Ton 2 Door Stepside Pickup with yellow exterior paint, subtle pin stripes, a Rhino-lined bed and a tan vinyl interior. You’ll find a GM 350 Ramjet V-8 engine under the hood with Vortec heads and it’s paired with a 700R4 automatic transmission, plus this desirable pickup is equipped with a Mustang II front suspension with AirRide, dual gas tanks, Dakota digital gauges, Vintage heat and A/C, tubular motor mounts and so much more.
Built for Exceptional Performance & Sizzling Curb Appeal
The current owner of this 1948 Chevrolet 3100 Stepside Pickup acquired it back in 2017 and he informs us that it’s originally from Orangevale, California. We do not have a complete lifetime history on this classic, but the current owner has excellent documentation available to show the build specs and everything that went into this incredible example. Out on the open road, this prestigious classic drives like a modern muscle car with very nice acceleration and handling- it’s easily one of the most impressive we’ve seen recently.
Additionally, this 1948 Chevrolet 3100 1/2 Ton Stepside Pickup is in fantastic, “almost new” condition with show quality paint across a flowing body, a sensational rear bed area and an ultra-clean high end interior. There are a few slight blemishes to be found, but overall this pickup is simply tremendous and can be enjoyed at the highest possible levels right away- either as a weekend driver for local shows or perhaps by a local Bay Area business.
One of the Most Impressive Builds We’ve Seen This Year
Overall, this 1948 Chevrolet 3100 Stepside Pickup is one of the most stunning resto-mods we’ve seen this year and the photographs can’t fully do it justice. This is one of those rare examples that has to be seen in person and actually driven to truly appreciate the build quality and overall levels of care, so stop by today to see it for yourself. For more information about this vehicle, visit our Fairfield, California showroom, give us a call at 707-419-8200, or email us at Sales@SpecialtySales.com. Be sure to mention Stock # F13500 as well.
Legal Disclosures: Specialty Sales Classics has advertised and sold thousands of classic cars since our founding in 1978. We strongly encourage any and all buyers who are unable to view the vehicle in-person to perform a Pre-Purchase Inspection (by an independent party of their choosing) prior to the purchase. Given the age of many of our vehicles, it is extremely difficult to adequately describe all aspects of each vehicles condition in the limited space available and we have learned that these Pre-Purchase Inspections are helpful to all parties involved.
The information presented for this vehicle is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed as a basis of purchase. The Buyer should make a thorough, independent inspection and investigation of the vehicle prior to purchase.
