Finished in stunning Red over Red and Scottish Plaid interior. Powered by its Straight-8 Spitfire Engine with a Fluid Drive Transmission. Among the most beautiful and elegant post war cars were the Chrysler Town & Country Woodies, Chrysler offered both a 4 door and a convertible model. The convertible Town & Country is far the most desirable and rare due the certain significant differences in the 2 cars. 4 doors were 6 cyl and had a shorter wheel base, the convertible was built on the Longer New Yorker chassis and all were equipped with a straight 8. All T&C's from 46-48 were distinguished by a dazzling harmonic grille and magnificent lines. The convertible T&C was the real looker with its structural ash wood framing on body sides and rear deck, and the inserts were genuine Mahogany. The Town & Country is the most collectible Chrysler of the post war era. This is a show winning Woodie with the trophy's to prove it.
