Beautifully Built 1946 Ford Super Deluxe Coupe

New to our Pleasanton showroom is this highly impressive 1946 Ford Super Deluxe 2 Door Coupe with grey exterior paint and a matching custom grey leather interior.  You’ll find a Chevy 350 cid ZZ4 V-8 crate engine under the hood built with forged pistons, a steel crank, an LT4 hot cam, aluminum heads and an Edelbrock manifold with a 4 bbl carburetor, plus an automatic transmission and many other upgrades.  This sensational classic street rod drives like a champion and has excellent curb appeal- it is a very complete build that’s in excellent condition.

Excellent Performance from Powerful ZZ4 Crate Motor

The current owner of this 1946 Ford Super Deluxe Coupe purchased it in 1998 from the original owner.  He informs us that this classic originally sold in Pleasanton, California and it has remained in the Bay Area its entire life, which explains why the body was in such excellent shape.  It was fully restored over the summer of 2014 to very high levels with extensive body, paint and mechanical work.  It still shows excellent in person as well with beautiful body lines, great chrome and an ultra-clean interior.

Additionally, this 1946 Ford Super Deluxe shows only minimal wear since the restoration was completed four years ago; there are only minimal blemishes in the paint and the body is in excellent condition.  The interior leather is also nicely maintained with slight patina on the driver’s seat and very nice carpeting.  The custom dash and steering column also impress so this is a very complete, high quality build inside and out.

Mechanically, this 1946 Ford Super Deluxe drives like a brand new classic on many different levels.  The acceleration is well above average and this beautiful classic handles like a dream.  No expense was spared in this premium quality build and the next owner is going to be very happy with this vehicle.  It’s definitely nice enough for local shows and it would make an awesome daily driver as well.
