1937 Packard 120 C 2 Door Convertible Coupe

Strikingly elegant and beautiful this 1937 Packard 120 convertible has been family owned since new and comes with a great line of history. Originally sold in San Francisco, CA this Packard was purchased by the current owner's aunt as a gift for her husband who was serving in World War II, and was eventually given to the current owner in 1980. Having been driven very sparingly since the Packard has been stored in a Burlingame, CA garage until arriving in our showroom. The 282 C.I. inline eight cylinder engine was rebuilt in 2002 and seen just over a 100 miles since being torn down. The car now runs whisper quiet and unbelievably smooth with easy gear changes via the three-speed manual transmission. In 2002 the convertible soft top was also replaced with a light tan colored canvas, and new white wall tires were also installed bringing this antique back to driving condition. The pale yellow exterior paint likely dates back to the 1960's and shows its age; however the body is in good condition and the red vinyl interior is still very presentable both inside the cabin and in the rear mounted "rumble seat." A great restoration candidate this 1937 Packard 120 convertible is simply in need of a fresh paint job and some minor reconditioning.
