The Chrysler Cooperation turned 10 years old in 1935 and with the worst of the Great depression in the rear view mirror, Plymouth offered a completely new car. New from the frame up the 1935 Plymouth came equiped with major design and engineering advances from the other 1934 models. Plymouth still had the only four-wheel hydraulic brakes among the lower priced competitors, and now offered a stronger chassis, revised suspension improving both ride and handeling, a more streamilined body, and a much safer car overall. With a built in trunk this new model of Plymouths became increasingly popular with the public as production increased 49% from 1934 levels. This car was designed to be an economically priced car for the business person of 1935 and fortunately you can still own this elegant piece of histroy for a reasonable price today.
