On December 1, 1927, Henry Ford bought full-page ads in 2,000 newspapers to announce the 1928 Ford Model A automobile, something we wish could be done today for this new addition to our showroom. This 1928 Model A is a stunning piece of automotive history that any car enthusiast would be proud to own and showoff. Good luck trying to find a more perfect example of Henry Ford's successor to the Model T.
This car underwent a a full restoration from the ground up, and not a thing
was missed or overlooked. It's not often you see a four-door Model A,
especially with the reddish-brown roof and steering wheel. The Model A was a car that revolutionized the way we think of automobiles today.
The Ford Model-A was the next big success from the Detroit automaker after the Model-T, and came in a variety of styles. The Ford Model-A was produced from 1927-1931 and came from the factory in 4 standard colors, but ironically black was not an option. The model A was also the first Ford to use a standard set of driver controls, such as a modern clutch and brake petal. If you want to see what an original Model-A looked like back in 1928, this car is as close as you are going to get!
