Fully Restored 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Convertible

The next amazing classic up for grabs in our Fairfield showroom is this genuine 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray 2 Door Convertible with Sunfire Yellow exterior paint, a white & black vinyl interior plus a black convertible soft top.  This outstanding example features a Turbo Jet 427 ci / 435 hp Tri-Power V-8 engine under the hood with a 4-speed manual transmission and a Posi-traction rear end with 3:08 gears. It also features Power 4-Wheel Disc Brakes and Power Steering. We can verify from the tank sticker that this is a genuine 427/4-speed example and this highly sought-after muscle car is in tremendous overall condition as well.

A Genuine 427 V-8 Big Block, 4-Speed Manual Example

The current owner of this 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Convertible took possession in 2007 and decided this highly original example was worthy of a complete restoration in 2013.  Every inch of this tremendous classic was fully restored at that time and we have all the receipts on file from that build.  We can also verify from the Trim Tag and Tank Sticker that this vehicle was restored in its true factory colors of Sunfire Yellow with a black/white vinyl interior.  Along with the build documentation, we also have the very rare factory tank sticker, the 1967 showroom brochure, the 1967 accessories booklet and the owner’s manual.

Additionally, this 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Roadster does not have the original engine block in place; we can verify by the stampings on the block that it was replaced with a different 1967 427 block at some point in the past.  As we previously mentioned, this is a true 427 Big Block example and it fires up beautifully with excellent performance on the open road.  Acceleration, cornering and all-around handling are all exactly as you’d expect from such a desirable example.

In terms of condition, this 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Convertible does not show any signs of wear since its restoration back in 2013.  While we never use the word “perfect” to describe a classic, the flowing exterior does not show the slightest of imperfections that we can spot with the naked eye.  Paint, chrome and trim are all sensational with properly aligned side-pipes and factory wheels with whitewall tires.  The white interior is equally as immaculate and this ’67 Roadster is easily one of the most pristine examples we’ve seen this year.  It needs nothing to be enjoyed immediately.
