The next amazing classic up for grabs in our Fairfield showroom is this gorgeous 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 Door Convertible with Sierra Gold and Adobe Beige exterior paint and a tan vinyl interior with copper cloth accents.  This show-stopping collectible features a 265 vid V-8 engine under the hood with a late model 4bbl carburetor and a three-speed manual transmission, a “three on the tree” column shifter, the exterior Continental kit with matching rear fender skirts (currently not installed), dog dish hubcaps with wire wheel caps also available and so much more.  This outstanding classic appears to be 100% stock except for the upgraded carburetor, and it absolutely runs like a dream.

The current owner informs us that this 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Roadster comes out of a prestigious South Florida car collection.  It was originally sold in Wisconsin and it has been enjoyed by four total lifetime owners, with little paperwork but absolutely sensational curb appeal.  You could look for months without finding a more prestigious example because the flawless body lines and the factory-correct two-tone paint really draw in your eyes.  Everything appears to be factory correct as well- from the sensational chrome work to the inviting interior to the T56G V-8 engine.  There are a few subtle flaws to be found but they are few and far between- this one is on the verge of perfection both inside and out.

Additionally, the interior of this 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Roadster literally transports you back in time with a flawless color-matching dashboard, all the correct gauges and the “Three on the Tree” column shifter behind the gorgeous chrome horn ring steering wheel.  The carpeting, door paneling and seating are also finished at an incredibly high level and the soft top appears to be in excellent overall condition.  This classic muscle car brings a “wow factor” to stand above and beyond even the most impressive examples out there on the current market, and it absolutely must be seen in person to appreciate the overall quality and attention to detail.  This is a show-stopping vehicle.
