Truly Stunning 1957 Ford Thunderbird Removable Hardtop

New to our Benicia showroom is this beautiful 1957 Ford Thunderbird 2 Door Removable Hardtop with Inca Gold exterior paint, a matching removable hardtop, and black soft top and a stunning Parchment white vinyl interior.  You’ll find a factory correct 312 cid V-8 engine with a engine dress up kit that the current owner added with a 4 bbl carburetor and the matching automatic transmission plus power steering, power brakes, power seats, premium wheels and a factory radio.  This outstanding example is highly original throughout and it’s simply stunning in person after a lifetime of proper care and maintenance.

This ’57 Thunderbird shows 32,495 miles on the odometer, which may be original lifetime mileage.  The factory engine was rebuilt within the last 7,000 miles as well.

Factory Correct Drivetrain & Great Lifetime Documentation

This 1957 Ford Thunderbird Removable Hardtop is in factory-correct Inca Gold with a matching hardtop with portholes- the photographs show a black convertible top purchased in 2017,  This example was sold new in Indiana and it’s been enjoyed by four different lifetime owners, each of which kept excellent documentation to show almost a complete history of this vehicle.  

Maintenance and DMV records indicate that the 32k miles on the odometer could in fact be original, lifetime miles with the factory drivetrain still In place- while we can’t certify these statements, we do believe that they are genuine and in good faith by the current owner.  We can tell you that the dash pad was replaced in 2002, the wire wheels were added in 2003, a new radiator was added in 2012 and the exterior chrome was re-chromed in 2017.

Additionally, this 1957 Ford Thunderbird Removable Hardtop is simply tremendous in person with immaculate body lines, very nice exterior paint and excellent chrome/trim.  The engine bay is new in appearance since this classic has been meticulously cared for throughout its life, and the factory correct interior is truly stunning.  You will find a few very minor blemishes in this classic but otherwise, it is absolutely tremendous and one of the most incredible examples we’ve ever seen.
