New to our Benicia showroom is this beautiful 1970 American Motors AMX 2 Door Fastback Coupe with Bittersweet Orange exterior paint, a black vinyl interior and Magnum 500 wheels.  You’ll find a factory-true 390 cid V-8 engine under the hood with a factory Go Pack, a 4bbl Holley carburetor, headers, a new dual exhaust and a freshly rebuilt 4-speed manual transmission.  This highly desirable classic muscle car is also equipped with power steering, power front wheel disc brakes, a factory radio and so much more.  It must be seen in person to truly appreciate since it’s a notch above other examples on the open market.

Highly Original w/ Factory Correct 390 V-8 Engine

The current owner of this 1970 American Motors AMX Fastback took possession back in 2016 and he informs us that it originally sold in Pennsylvania.  This incredibly original example has a near perfect exterior with nice driver quality paint, fantastic bright work and a well-maintained original interior with only slight wear/tear to the factory seating.  The highly original engine compartment also shows nicely in typical driver-quality condition.  This classic can be enjoyed immediately as a high-end driver or fully restored into something truly special since everything is here.
