Outstanding 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Fastback

The next breath-taking muscle car up for grabs in our Pleasanton showroom is this Ultra rare 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 2 Door Fastback with Silver/Black exterior paint and a matching black vinyl interior. It’s powered by a period correct 429 V-8 engine that has less than 4k miles on the rebuild. It isn't the original motor the car came with. It has the close ratio factory 4-speed manual transmission, drag pack with 3:91 ratio traction-LOC and a Hurst shifter, and this highly original sports car is in excellent overall condition. With outstanding ride quality and phenomenal curb appeal, this ’71 Fastback is absolutely the real deal.

Highly Original & Very Nicely Maintained

This 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Fastback comes very close to perfection in terms of collectability with all original equipment except for the factory engine, which was replaced by a period-correct 429 many years ago. It does have excellent show quality paint on the exterior and very nice body lines as well, plus a very clean interior that is also mostly original. It also has period correct wheels and tires as well. This one can very easily be taken to the next level or simply enjoyed as it sits in our showroom today; it is a stellar example either way.

In terms of actual performance, this 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 drives like a true champion. The Hurst shifter flies through the gears with ease and the motor delivers exceptional power to the wheels.
