Ultra Rare 1970 Plymouth Road Runner Convertible

New to our Fairfield showroom is this impossible to find 1970 Plymouth Road Runner 2 Door Convertible with Blue Fire Metallic (B5) exterior paint, a white interior and a white power top. It features its original 335 horsepower, 383 cubic inch V-8 making 425 ft. /lbs. of torque and it is mated to a Torqueflite automatic transmission with a 3:23 to 1 ratio differential. It also comes equipped from the factory with power front disc brakes, power steering, a power soft top and the original AM/FM radio, and this vehicle is in outstanding original condition throughout.

One of 824 Total Roadrunner Convertibles Built

This 1970 Plymouth Road Runner Convertible is one of 824 to roll off the assembly line during the 1970 production year, and it was one of 428 with this drivetrain combination. It still has its factory AM/FM radio in place as well as the functioning "Air Grabber" vacuum operated hood scoop, the original “beep beep” horn, a heavy duty radiator/transmission cooler and the factory upgraded Kelsey-Hayes power disc front brakes. This is among the highest optioned examples you’ll find anywhere.

Additionally, this 1970 Plymouth Road Runner Convertible has been meticulously restored in recent years with either OEM parts or a complete rebuild of the originals. In fact, this well documented example is almost completely original except for the fuel tank, the sending unit, the carburetor and the power brake booster. It is very close to flawless throughout as well and it received a recent tune up, so it’s ready to enjoy immediately by the next owner.
