 New to our Fairfield showroom is a great example of a 1969 Pontiac GTO 2 Door Convertible. Verdero Green exterior paint and a rare matching green interior with bucket seating and a white convertible power top.  You’ll find the factory 400 cid V-8 engine under the hood with the factory correct 4 speed manual transmission, along with factory air conditioning, retractable headlights, a limited slip differential, power steering, power disc brakes, Rally I wheels with trim rings and red stripe Coker radial tires. It is very rare to find this combination of factory 4-speed and A/C.  This prestigious muscle car is in great original survivor condition..

PHS Certified with Phenomenal Lifetime Documentation

The original owner of this 1969 Pontiac GTO Convertible kept it for 40 years all the way up to 2010.  He purchased it at Quantico Auto Sales in Dumfries, Virginia and this beautiful muscle car remained with him in Illinois for the vast majority of its life.  This is a factory A/C classic that’s PHS documented with paperwork dating back to day one- we have the original order form, dealer invoice, warranty book, owner’s manual and even the salesman’s business card.  You’ll likely never find a more original example with this level of documentation.  It has the factory Protect-o-Plate as well.

Additionally, this 1969 Pontiac GTO Convertible has been repainted at least once across its life in the factory correct Verdero Green color.  There are a few small chips/scratches in the paint across an otherwise outstanding body- this one is certainly above the typical driver grade and it shows nicely in person.  The factory interior is also exceptional with minimal wear on the bucket seating and a super-clean instrument panel with rally gauges, a factory wood-grain steering wheel, a Hurst floor shifter in the center console and a after market AM/FM cassette radio.
