Nicely Kept 1969 Mercedes Benz 280SE Sedan

New to our Benicia showroom is this nicely kept 1969 Mercedes Benz 280SE 4 Door Sedan with factory color Taupe exterior paint and a red leather interior. Paint and complete interior redone in 2006 It features the original factory 2.8L inline 6 cylinder engine under the hood with the numbers-matching automatic transmission, plus this one is very highly optioned with power everything, cold A/C, a power sunroof, front disc brakes and Although it is almost completely original it was upgraded with an aftermarket CD/stereo, an alarm and key-less entry. Also included if a center seat cushion not shown in the pictures here. To wrap it all up is a model specific car cover.

This was beautifully restored to its original condition!! in 2006. This outstanding automobile has only been owned by only 2 families since 1969 therefore the 83,850 miles on the odometer Is believe to be the actual lifetime mileage but at this point, we do not have the documentation to prove it.

This 1969 Mercedes Benz 280SE Sedan was originally purchased locally at a California dealership back in 1969. It was lovingly cared for and enjoyed for about 25 years before it was finally sold to the current owners in 1994. We have excellent documentation for the life of the vehicle as well and it did receive new paint (in the factory color) (all new interior) in 2006. It is a very impresses true survivor.

Additionally, the drivetrain on this 1969 Mercedes Benz 280SE has never been rebuilt and it still performs nicely. Good acceleration, smooth shifting and great ride quality are all signatures of this model and they are readily apparent in this example. Our test drive felt like we were driving a much newer luxury vehicle and everything appears to work well; from the cold air conditioning to the aftermarket alarm, C/D player and key-less entry.
