New to our Fairfield showroom is this impressive 1968 Pontiac GTO 2 Door Convertible with gorgeous red exterior paint and a matching red vinyl interior.  It features the factory 400 cid V-8 engine under the hood with the numbers-matching TH400 automatic transmission, along with power steering, power brakes, and a power top.  This is a gorgeous show-quality example with full PHS documentation, original build sheets, dealer brochures and more, so you definitely want to come see this amazing muscle car before it’s snatched up for good.

Completely Restored to Concours-Level Quality

This 1968 Pontiac GTO Convertible has been painstakingly restored from the ground up several years ago with the numbers-matching drivetrain and most of its original accessories like the 3.08 gear ratio with Posi-traction, the Quadra-Jet 4 bbl. carburetor, tilt steering wheel, the Hurst dual gate console mounted shifter, an after-market tachometer and more.  This amazing example looks like a new car inside and out and it also received proper care in the engine bay and the undercarriage.  This is easily one of the most prestigious examples that we’ve come across in years.

Additionally, the odometer shows 50,999 miles and the current owner believes it to be the lifetime mileage for this muscle car.  We do not have any documentation to prove that statement, but it is entirely possible since this one is in such amazing condition with everything still here from the factory.
