Simply Awesome 1968 Ford Mustang Coupe

New to our Fairfield showroom is this gorgeous 1968 Ford Mustang 2 Door Coupe with blue exterior paint and a matching  blue and parchment Pony interior.  It features a high performance 302 cid V-8 engine with a 4 bbl. carburetor, an aluminum radiator, and a C4 automatic transmission, plus power steering, power brakes, Vintage A/C, a new Mustang radio (with hidden Sony speakers), a hidden antenna, Magnum 500 wheels and brand new BF Goodrich radial tires.  This ’68 Mustang is in fantastic condition as well and it is a sensational modern muscle car.

Driven Only 600 Miles since on frame Restoration

This 1968 Ford Mustang started its life at the San Jose manufacturing plant as a 289 V-8 with a 2 bbl. carburetor, a C4 automatic transmission and a 2.79 gear ratio in the rear.  A local Los Angeles sales office custom ordered it with Gulfstream Aqua paint and a black interior interior.

The current owner of this 1968 Ford Mustang purchased it in 2011 and almost immediately began a complete frame on restoration of epic proportions.  The drivetrain and all the mechanicals were remanufactured or replaced while the body was stripped down  and restored to perfection.  It also received a brand new Pony interior, new bumpers, badges and chrome.The interior features Dakota digital gauges with a factory look but which includes a tachometer, and it  is finished off with a  LeCarra wood steering wheel. It sports a dazzling  Vista Blue exterior paint job.  Well over $37,000 was invested in this gorgeous build and it makes a fantastic impression in person.

This 1968 Ford Mustang has been driven approximately 600 miles since the restoration was completed and it still looks excellent throughout.  There are some slight signs of wear to the paint and the interior but otherwise, this is a beautiful classic muscle car that offers exceptional performance.
