Beautifully Maintained 1967 Sunbeam Tiger Roadster

The next amazing vehicle up for grabs in our Benicia showroom is this completely original 1967 Sunbeam Tiger 2 Door Roadster with black exterior paint and a red vinyl interior.  It features a factory 260 cid V-8 engine under the hood with the numbers matching 4-speed manual transmission, and it has been very tastefully upgraded over the years with stock upgrades to make this one something truly special.  This highly desirable roadster is on the Sunbeam Tiger official Rootes Group Registry and it would make a fantastic addition to any serious collection.   

Less than 800 Tigers Total Manufactured in 1967

This 1967 Sunbeam Tiger Roadster is a two lifetime owner classic that’s been with the current owner for the past 31 years- he has driven it a total of around 4,000 miles during that time.  He informs us that this is one of the first 1967 Tiger's to be produced and it was sold in early 1967, making it a Chrysler with the gold pentastar affixed under the Tiger logo.  Over the last 30 years this one has also seen in excess of $20k in stock upgrades including factory rear disc brakes, upgraded rack and pinion steering, a new front end, a limited slip 307 Posi rear end, a four-core radiator, an alternator upgrade, Hi Pro headers, a heater rebuild, an O&O wiring harness, and more.  The Rootes Group Registry still considers this a completely stock Tiger for competition and it has impossible to find accessories like the Tudor plastic windshield washer bottle.

In terms of condition, this 1967 Sunbeam Tiger Convertible has a flawless interior that could literally pass for brand-new condition.  The trunk and engine bay are also immaculate with only the slightest signs of imperfections.  A close look at the body doesn't show any issues other than some slight blemishes in a few places with the paint.  This one could be shown almost anywhere today and likely bring home a trophy in the completely stock class.
