Beautiful Survivor-1966 Ford Mustang Convertible

The next gorgeous muscle car available in our Benicia showroom is this 1966 Ford Mustang 2 Door Convertible with white exterior paint and a matching white Pony leather interior. It’s been nicely upgraded to a 5.0L fuel injected V-8 engine with a five speed manual transmission, but otherwise this one appears to be a true survivor both inside and out. With great body lines and excellent performance, this is one beautiful classic that is ready for the summer heat.

Great Performance w/ Fuel Injected V-8 Engine

The current owner of this 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible purchased it back in 2010 due to the tremendous original condition this classic was in at the time. In recent years he has this classic vehicle upgraded to a fuel-injected V-8 for better fuel economy without sacrificing power/torque, and the drive quality is excellent. Out on the open road, this one drives like a newer sports car with nice handling and plenty of power and torque.

In terms of condition, this 1966 Ford Mustang Roadster does show some signs of aging since it appears that it’s never been fully restored. There are some scratches and other blemishes in the exterior paint but the body is about as straight as they come. The white pony interior is super-clean as well with only slight signs of aging, so this one could be enjoyed immediately or taken to an entirely different level. That’s going to be a tough decision for the next owner given how clean this one sits right now.

A Fantastic Candidate for a Complete Restoration

Overall, this 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible is easily one of the nicest survivors that we’ve seen this year and the drive quality is top notch.
