Nicely Maintained 1965 Ford Mustang Hardtop

New to our Benicia showroom is this outstanding 1965 Ford Mustang 2 Door Hardtop Coupe with Burgundy exterior paint and a black pony leather interior. It features the factory 200 CI I-6 cylinder engine under the hood with a 3-speed automatic transmission, plus this example has a split header, an aftermarket CD player/alarm and period correct wheels. This one is a beautiful example that’s being sacrificed at a very conservative asking price, so do not expect for it to remain available for long.

Two Owner Classic w/ Excellent Paint & Like-New Interior

The current owner of this 1965 Ford Mustang purchased it back in 1977 and he informs us that very little has changed during his 38 years of ownership. The factory transmission was replaced at one point in this muscle car’s lifetime and it has been cosmetically restored with fresh paint and a beautiful, like-new interior. An aftermarket CD player was also added in the dash but otherwise, this is a highly original example that has withstood the tests of time nicely.

Additionally, this 1965 Ford Mustang Hardtop performs exactly like a well-tuned classic car should with solid acceleration and very nice handling. This example is considered a “late model” for 1965 with the 200 ci engine, bucket seats and a floor-mounted shifter, plus the popular “Pony interior” that is so desirable among collectors.
