Simply Gorgeous 1965 Corvette Stingray Convertible

New to our Benicia showroom is this gorgeous 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 2 Door Convertible with silver exterior paint and a red leather interior.  You’ll find a fuel injected 327 cid V-8 engine under the hood with a new fuel pump, a new shift linkage box, a MSD ignition box, new brake mechanicals (master cylinder, booster, lines), a front sway bar, a new engine harness and a 4-speed manual transmission.  All the work on this high quality roadster has been completed over the past six years and it is ready to enjoy right away.  It even has brand new tires.

Tastefully Restored & Upgraded Back in Summer of 2011

The current owner of this 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible informs us that he had this classic sports car partially restored back in 2011 to significantly increase the performance and ride quality of this desirable classic.  The professionally rebuilt engine was broken in with a carburetor and then later swapped to fuel injection- a DYNO sheet shows that it produced 346.8 horsepower and 320.6 ft/lbs of torque at 6,200 RPM’s.  There are also a number of service receipts since that time to show that this sports car has been very well maintained over the years and it drives beautifully today.

Additionally, this 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Roadster still impresses in person with driver-quality paint, a very clean interior and a nicely sorted engine compartment.  The body panels line up nicely throughout and it wouldn’t take much for this one to fall into a completely different level of collectibility- it must be seen in person to truly appreciate.
