New to our Benicia showroom is this simply outstanding 1964 Mercury Parklane Breezeway 2 Door Hardtop
with factory official "Silver Turquoise Metallic" exterior paint and original white/black vinyl interior. You’ll feel like you took a step back in time once you hear the roar of the factory 390 V-8 and its matching automatic transmission, and this beauty comes factory equipped with power steering, power brakes and far too many other features to list. This one is a true survivor as well and it is one of the nicest maintained classics we’ve ever seen.

Meticulously Maintained 51 Tear Old Survivor

In terms of actual condition, this 1964 Mercury Parklane Breezeway drives better than many new cars on the road today. And for the record, it is not a classic that’s undergone an extensive restoration or one that was discovered in a barn recently; it has actually been driven and meticulously maintained throughout its life. The 2nd owner did have the drivetrain rebuilt a few decades back and this one is also very nicely documented; the third (current) owner told us that if it ever needed anything, the previous owners would bring it directly to the shop and get it taken care of with the best possible parts available.

In case why you’re wondering how this classic earned its “Breezeway” name, it comes from the great draft that comes from rolling the rear windows down. And since this one has been garaged its entire lifetime and kept at incredible standards, it still performs just as nicely today as it did 51 years ago. It even has the original owner’s manual still in the glove box...right next to the working factory AM radio.
