Immaculate 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS Hardtop Sport Coupe

New to our Benicia showroom is this amazing 1964 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport 2 Door Hardtop Sport Coupe with Palomar Red exterior paint and a black interior. It features a 409 cid V-8 engine under the hood with dual quad carburetors and a 4-speed manual transmission, plus this beauty is highly optioned with rare power windows, power steering, power brakes, Posi-traction, the factory AM radio, bucket seating, a factory tachometer, the padded dash, a built in center console and far too many other original facets to list. This one is a true survivor that is believed to have a mere 36,498 lifetime miles on the odometer…and it has never been restored.

Three Owner Bay Area Classic that’s Never Been Restored

This 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS has been titled three times throughout its life; the most recent owner took possession in 2011 and has extensively researched this desirable muscle car. It was originally sold at Ellis Brooks in San Francisco, California and it has remained in the Bay Area almost its entire life, and to the best of the current owner’s knowledge it has never been restored either. Evidentially, this one must have sat in storage for decades. So while we can’t say for sure that this one has 36,498 original miles, it sure does look like it.

Now let’s talk about what we know for sure. Up close, this 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS is absolutely gorgeous both inside and out. It appears to have virtually every factory option available in 1964 including factory chrome valve covers and a chrome air cleaner. The wheels have been upgraded at some point but otherwise, this one appears to be a true survivor in every sense of the word. It also drives exceptionally well with nice power, smooth handling and just a great overall feel.
