The next amazing vehicle up for grabs in our Benicia showroom is this 1963 Avanti-Studebaker R-2 Supercharged 2 Door Sport Coupe with grey exterior paint and a black leather interior.  This rare, highly coveted classic sports car features a supercharged 289 V-8 engine under the hood that’s bored to 305 cid, 305 R2 heads, oversized valves, R3 cam and pistons, a twin track rear end with 3.73 gears, new wheels/tires, and a new clutch/plate for the 4 speed manual transmission.  This classic is in outstanding shape and it is ready to enjoy immediately.

Less than 500 Total Miles on Extensive Rebuild

The current owner of this 1963 Avanti-Studebaker R-2 Sport Coupe informs us that he is the third lifetime owner and he has enjoyed this rare classic since 1986.  This vehicle underwent a complete frame off restoration shortly thereafter and it has been beautifully maintained indoors ever since.  This amazing classic also received some touch ups to the paint recently plus a new clutch, pressure plate and a few other minor maintenance items.  It is in excellent overall condition without any visible flaws anywhere.  The body lines, interior, engine compartment, etc. are all bordering on flawless.
