New to our Pleasanton showroom is this very impressive 1957 MGA 1500 2 Door Roadster with white exterior paint and a black leather interior. It features a 1489cc four-cylinder engine under the hood with a manual transmission, this desirable roadster has a mere 5,125 miles on the restoration. It drives exceptionally well and has outstanding curb appeal. We have been informed that it is a true numbers matching car which is backed by a ‘certified copy of the factory record’ from the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust. Included with car is the original owner’s manual and good collection of classic literature.

Beautifully Maintained w/ Freshly Rebuilt Original Drivetrain

The current owner purchased it in 2014 and immediately put the car through a full frame off restoration. The car comes with a restoration file documenting the entire process. This was a true nut and bolt restoration to the highest standards. Overall condition is excellent inside and out, you can find only the smallest blemishes in a few areas.  this car has obviously been very well taken care of and recently received 89 points La Jolla Concours de Elegance, since then 2 of the point deductions have been addressed, making this a legitimate 91-point car. The car is currently sporting its original side curtains and soft top, which has a college sticker in the window for historic purposes, however a new roof is also being included.
