New to our Pleasanton showroom is this 1936 Chevrolet 2 Door Low Cab Pickup with Butternut Yellow exterior paint (1966 GM color) and a beautiful grey tweed interior.   You’ll find a 350 cid small block V-8 under the hood producing 324 horsepower and it is paired with a 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission, a Mustang II front end, a Gennie floor shifter, power front disc brakes, power windows, a Pioneer six disc CD changer/stereo, custom Auto Meter gauges and nice chrome American Mag wheels. This custom street rod is an absolute pleasure to drive and its available today at an unbeatable asking price.


Complete Frame-Up Restoration Back in 2001

The current owner of this 1936 Chevrolet Low Cab Pickup has enjoyed it since 2010 and he informs us that it underwent a complete frame-off restoration with the previous owner back in 2001.  It has been driven approximately 16k miles since that time and this gorgeous street rod has been garaged and properly cared for at incredibly high levels.  A closer inspection shows that there are a few minimal chips in the exterior paint but otherwise, the body is gorgeous and lines up almost perfectly.  The chrome and trim work are also exceptional with practically no visible wear at all.

Likewise, the interior in this 1936 Chevrolet Low Cab Pickup is exceptional with negligible signs of wear over the years.  The custom grey tweed bench seating is comfortable and gives the proper retro feel for a truck of this caliber, just like the vintage gauges and steering column does.  The Oak bed liner is also top notch so this beautiful street rod does not need anything to be enjoyed immediately.  Out on the open, this rare pickup screams down the open road with handling similar to a modern sports car and acceleration that’s all classic muscle.
