New to our Benicia showroom is this breathtaking 1964 Ford Thunderbird Landau 2 Door Convertible with Bright Red exterior paint and a factory upgraded black leather interior. This one also came from the factory with a 390 cid V-8 engine, an automatic transmission, a fully functional top and 3.5” wide whitewall tires. This is an extremely rare and desirable classic roadster that’s in near perfect condition and you’ll be happy to know that it is available at a sensational asking price.

Fully Restored Numbers-Matching Drivetrain

The current owner of this 1964 Ford Thunderbird Landau Convertible has enjoyed it for the past 22 years and informs us that it has taken first place in most of the shows it has ever entered. It has also been used to carry the Grand Marshal for numerous parades, and it is the most painted car in the country from artists in Colorado, Florida and southern California. The owner also informs us that it has its numbers-matching drivetrain in place and that the 72k miles on the odometer could possibly be original as well, but we don’t have paperwork to certify those statements.

Additionally, this 1964 Ford Thunderbird Landau Convertible is a true survivor in that the prior owners kept it indoors and meticulously maintained over the decades. The paint and the interior have been refreshed over the years but this appears to be a highly original classic in phenomenal condition. It even has the old time “Fun, Fun, Fun” license plate to commemorate the song written about this model by the Beach Boys.
