New to our Pleasanton showroom is this gorgeous 1964 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport 2 Door Hardtop with black exterior paint and a tan vinyl interior.  It is a true survivor as well with a 283 cubic inch V-8 engine under the hood and the numbers-matching 4-speed manual transmission, neither of which appear to have been rebuilt.  This one is nicely equipped for modern driving as well and it is in very nice original condition.

True SS Survivor that Still Performs Great Today

This 1964 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport has been with three total owners throughout its lifetime, with the most recent taking possession in 2015.  Unfortunately, we do not have a lot of information about this one’s history other than what the VIN numbers tell is, but it is an original SS that does not appear to ever have been restored.  It sits today in an average driver quality for a vehicle that’s 10-15 years old, which means that overall condition is actually outstanding for a classic with this much age.

Additionally, this 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS Hardtop still drives great with a nice feel on the open road.  The engine sounds good and the factory four-speed shifts nicely, so it could easily be enjoyed today as a driver.  Other types of collectors would likely perform a full frame off restoration, so there’s definitely a lot of potential either way.
