In late 1990, the NSX was introduced by Honda as its first mid-engine exotic car to showcase its innovative VTEC variable valve timing and lift technology. It was created and hand-built at its Tochigi Competition Development facility and was, at that time, the most expensive Japanese car ever brought to market. The VTEC valve management technology produced 290 bhp at 7100 RPM and 224 lb-ft of torque at 5500 rpm from a normally aspirated 3.2-liter dual overhead cam / 24 valve / V6 engine. Zero-to-sixty miles per hour was achieved in 4.5 seconds.

The design and materials used on the NSX was revolutionary and introduced many industry 'firsts' for the production car market. It was the first production car to use titanium connecting rods, six in total. The body and chassis was comprised of aluminum, weighing just over 460 pounds, much less than steel but with equal strength. The aluminum body housed many advanced technologies such as PGM-FI, Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control (VTEC), and a direct ignition system.

The Austin-Healey Sprite Mark III was a transition model between the Mark II roadster that preceded it and the Mark IV convertible that followed it. While the Mark III had the roll-up windows of a "convertible," it still had the easily detachable, button-down soft top of a "roadster." Still the same handsome car as its Mark II predecessor, it retained the same 1098 cc engine as the Mark II Series although with three more horsepower at 59. Approximately 25,000 of them were produced.

If you ever get the chance to sample the original Sprite, then a Mark III, you will quickly realize the difference between the two, particularly in the suspension area. In fact, such were the changes made that the Sprite Mark III had a great deal in common with that of the larger MGB. The wider location base for the rear springs allowed B.M.C. to put more rubber into the shackles. This provided quieter running as well as a better ride. Final drive vibration evident on the earlier model was all but gone. The handling was light and predictable, and there was ample elbowroom with two large people on board. These changes helped the Sprite and Midget compete with the then recently-released Triumph Spitfire.

As any Austin Healy enthusiast will tell you that the whole joy in these cars lies in the simplicity and purity of them. This sprite comes to us from its 3rd owner and basically everything is already done for you. All that’s left is to enjoy some summer motoring! This would even make a great candidate to enjoy some vintage racing.

The BMW M Roadster was designed to be the performance version of the BMW Z3, and there were significant differences between the two variants. The body of the M Roadster had many slight differences. These included front and rear bumpers, gills, rear wings, boot and mirrors.

Under the skin many of the components were beefed up with many of them taken from the E30 M3 and E36 M3 Evo including brakes and much of the suspension. Based on the E36 platform, the Z3 Roadster was considered the E36/7 platform. The M Roadster could run a wider track under the flared wheel arches as well as wider wheels and tires to try to tame the increased power. Standard tyre sizes for the M Roadster is 225/45r17 at the front and 245/40r17 at the back. The low offset of the rear wheels allows plenty of flexibility to increase the rear tire width. A dual exhaust system fed each set of three cylinders to two dual tailpipes. This quad exhaust has since become an BMW M division signature. Other changes included adding a limited slip differential, a different gearbox and strengthening the chassis. The interior had a different look to the standard Z3, starting with the M-version steering wheel and including different instrumentation such as an oil temperature gauge. Finally, the car was available in M-specific colors which were not released for the regular Z3, at least in the early production years (not counting BMW's Individual program). Early cars featured ABS as standard. Traction and stability control also became standard with the new engine. The Z3 was facelifted, but in common with other BMW M vehicles, the M Roadster's appearance was not updated.

Bold and Beautiful! This gorgeous creation was completed in 2005 and won Best of Show at the Good Guys Get-together in Pleasanton, CA in 2005. Top Quality Craftsmanship shows at every angle of this beautiful custom. The top was chopped 2 1/4 inches, all of the door handles, hood ornaments, and trunk emblems were removed and replaced with Unkl Al solenoids. The front bumper guards were removed and the bumper bolts were flushed. The front grill cavity was formed and grills from two 1959 Buicks were used to fill the cavity. The front bumper pan was lowered 2 1/2 inches and hand formed for a smooth appearance. Four decorative chrome teeth were used to accent the front fender scoops. Flared fenders and rockers were formed to give the car a low appearance. Tail lights were created from 1958 Mercury headlight rims with a two inch chrome inner ring. Then, perforated metal was used to give the effect of hidden tail lights and capped with a bullet. The license plate was sunken in rear and rear bumper was smoothed and modified. The color is Peaches and Cream with Gold Pearl laid over the top. Striping was done in Silver Gray. The interior was matched with Peaches and Cream Leather Seats, trimmed with Silver Gray. The front suspension was re-worked by modifying the A frames and spindles. The rear has been bagged with Air Ride Technology air bags. Wheels are Roadster Wire Wheels with TBird centers, capped with a bullet. The engine is a stock 401ci with only 48,250 original miles! This beautiful car must be seen in person to fully appreciate!

This 1964 Buick Riviera is the Holy Grail of 1^st generation Riviera’s. It is an original Black/Black car and it still retains its original matching numbers “Super Wildcat” engine. The “Super Wildcat” package includes the 360HP dual-quad engine (KX code), chrome air-cleaner and finned aluminum valve covers. Only 2122 Riviera’s left the factory with this engine. The car is Regal Black (code A) with the optional custom interior in black. The custom interior includes Baronet Cloth inserts with vinyl bolsters, full length door arm rests, door latches for rear seat passengers, wood veneer inserts on door and quarter trim panels, center console, and radio face plate, and Circular Riviera script ornaments on door panels. It is rust-free and has been refinished to very high standards in its original color. The trunk is original and still retains the original factory trim which is in very good condition. There is a spare wheel/tire, and the jack and related hardware are all present and secured in their proper location. The engine and engine compartment are original and undetailed. We are proud to offer this stunning one-of-a-kind ’71 Buick Riviera Boattail Hardtop. The owner of this car has been going to car shows for over 50 years and wanted to build something different from the staple 32 Fords, Chevelles, Camaros and Mustangs etc., that you see at those shows. The mission was to create a four passenger full size car while maintaining the effect of the period with a contemporary flavor.

Body

So the project began and he came across a clean and original ’71 Buick Riviera which he would use. The car was so clean he decided not to take the body off the frame. They started by removing the windows, doors, fenders, hood, interior, including the dash. They stripped the body and interior down to bare metal. There was no body fillers or bondo used. They felt that the one area that needed customizing was the front end. The front bumper was massive; it went from mid grille all the way to the bottom of the fender. They made the front bumpers, de-chromed the back bumper and brought it in closer to the body. The mirrors came from a 2006 Corvette. They carved the bases for the mirrors out of aluminum on a CNC machine. The headlights are custom made HID, the tail lights are custom made HID lights and are sequential. The instrument panel was custom made by Dakota Digital.

Interior

The interior was lined with Thermo-Tec exhaust and heat protection. Front seat units are 6 way - 2006 G.M. Rear seat units were fabricated. Seats are french seamed with flat bar insert design. Package tray has padded leather insert with hand punched and inlaid leather speaker outlets. Visors are finger tabbed with welted edges. Carpet is custom fitted British-wool broadcloth and wool carpet with hand sewn and picked seams. The seats are wrapped in Scottish-Angus leather.

Stereo

"In my 20 years of experience creating custom systems, this 1971 Buick Riviera is one of my favorites. I used only the highest quality materials in creating the visually stunning trunk and audio system for this one of a kind classic. In the cabin, I started with an Alpine CD player and flash drive installed in the dash. JL audio speakers were installed in the front, and Polk audio SR series in the back deck. Moving to the trunk, Polk audio SR speakers flank two Alpine 4 channel amplifiers. A JL audio 10” woofer was tucked away, behind the amps, to rock the crowd at car shows. Each piece in the trunk was hand formed from fiberglass and carefully sculpted to perfection for the tightest fit. I then, carefully, wrapped each piece in the finest imported leather. Countless hours were spent creating the fiberglass inlays that were painted in red to highlight the amps and the speakers and give a stunning contrast to the tan leather. I love the end result, and I truly enjoyed being a part of this project."

Engine

Buick 455 V8 bored to 4.35 inches giving 464ci. Wiseco forged dished pistons with 1/16 rings, approx 10.5:1 compression, Eagle H-beam rods, 6.635 length, hydraulic flat tappet camshaft at approx 231/239 degrees duration at .050 and in the mid .500 lift range, fully grooved cam bearings, internal oil passages as required for this application, dual guard intake manifold and aluminum heads, ported and flowed to 320 plus cfm, extra capacity oil pan, MSD 6AL ignition box. The engine was built by PAE Enterprises in El Paso, TX. Jim is a renowned Buick engine builder. Most of his engines are built for drag racers around the U.S.A. The motor was broke in and tuned on Jim's Dyno. 527hp@ 5600 rpm and 609 foot pounds of torque @ 4600 rpm. The radiator is custom built aluminum with two 1350cfm fans.

Suspension

Air Ride Technologies Ride Pro 3 (4-way system) with remote control, two 3 galllon air tanks, 2 compressors, big red value upgrade, high tech electronic control allows the user to program three automatic height presets with added level pro digital right height sensors. The system intelligently utilizes both air pressure and ride height information to accurately adjust vehicle suspension level. Level Pro upgrade for Ride Pro E3 system (4 external sensors) double convoluted air springs in front and 2000 pound tapered rear air springs in rear and four Billet aluminum adjustable shocks.

The car was shown at six car shows between 2008 and 2009. It won 2008 Cruise of Champions at Hot August Nights, was featured in Meguiars tent at Hot August Nights 2008. Cadillacs were heavily face lifted for 1958 in a manner typical of GM that year. They were laden with chrome and looked much different than earlier models. Sales were poor, though a nationwide recession was probably more to blame than the baroque styling, which was, after all, in vogue. At 121,778 units, model year production was lower than at any time since 1954. Symbolizing the fall in fortunes was a V-8 slightly detuned in a faint nod toward fuel economy, limited to a single 310-bhp version for all models.

Forecasting the future, DeVille became a 62 sub-series for '58, and pillared sedans were temporarily eliminated. The 62 line also gained a hardtop sedan with extended rear deck. All models were available with cruise control, high-pressure cooling system, two-speaker radio with automatic signal-seeking, and automatic parking brake release.

This particular Series 62 Coupe comes to us from a local Cadillac lover. He is the 3^rd owner of this car and has been in his family since purchased from the original owner in 1980. It was gradually restored throughout the years. Most recently the engine was rebuilt approximately 4000 miles ago.

You just don’t see these anymore and especially one in solid mechanical and cosmetic condition. What we were most impressed by with this Coupe was how buttery smooth it drives. The engine purrs quietly as does the driveline. You will be impressed with how straight it tracks and floats over the road. 1977 Marked a major redesign for the Coupe DeVille model line. The new-generation Fleetwood/DeVille was, in Cadillac's words, "engineered from the ground up, to make more efficient use of space." That meant a new body, new chassis, new suspension, and new engine, in an integrated design. Trunk space grew larger. DeVilles gave more rear leg/headroom and also wore a new horizontal crosshatch grille with four horizontal and nine vertical divider bars. This gave the whole front end a wide, uniform appearance that flowed into the side panels. In sum, it carried on the traditional Cadillac look. Bodies had full rear wheel openings and vertical tail lamps.

The newer cars were downsized in proportions as well as engine displacement, a true zeitgeist of the late 1970’s. However, despite the downsizing, in the comfort and luxury department, Cadillac stayed true to its heralded reputation and a top-of-the-line marquee.

Originally sold in Burlingame, California, this “Naples Yellow” survivor car comes to us from its second local owner who purchased it in 2005. When you first see this car in person, you will be shocked at how nicely this Coupe DeVille has held up over the years. The original 452ci V8 motor still runs strong and has been maintained well by both owners.

The odometer reads 47,000 original miles and when you take a look at the condition, you won’ question it for a second. The color combination of Naples Yellow with gold leather is just one of those color combinations that you simply do not see anymore and truly harkens back to a different era. Everything is original and virgin, even the simulated wood knobs for the factory stereo.

B1657 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche

This isn’t your average Avalanche...this is a completely custom take on what Chevrolet would do if they had created an SS version of the popular truck. It is still wearing its factory Silver Birch exterior and grey cloth interior, just with some added goodies.

It has been upgraded with GMC Denali ground effects on all sides and a Xenon front bumper and some nice and meaty 20” American Racing wheels wrapped in Goodyear Eagle rubber. Also equipped with upgraded Baer brakes to help it stop when you get the urge to put the pedal to the metal. And to give it that great stance 2” drop spindles have been added in the front and 2” drop springs in the rear with Air Assist airbags in case you have to load the bed up or have the need to tow. The all so familiar faded black plastic trim on the bed and bed cover have been correctly coated with Gatorback coating to protect that black sheen and make them last for years to come. The surround of the windows has been blacked out to give it a wrap around look. And the classic Chevrolet ‘hockey stick’ stripes have been applied in a contrasting light blue which fades into a checkered flag to match with the rear window which is done in a matching checkered flag shade. Escalade door handles along with the grill, rear tailgate trim, and rear bumper trim which are color matched are some of the little details that add to the overall package to make this Avalanche set itself apart from the rest. And the most unique feature it has are faux side pipes which double as side steps for the truck. But the cherry on top of the whole thing is the SS badges affixed to the front fenders and rear tailgate to let everyone know this isn’t an ordinary SUT.

This vehicle has been a one owner, California car its whole life. Originally sold at Woodland Chevrolet and customized by the owner it is definitely a one of a kind truck. It makes you wonder if this truck looks this good why Chevrolet didn’t offer the option brand new…

The 1960 model year introduced a new body style of light pick-up truck that featured many firsts. Most important of these were a drop-center ladder frame, allowing the cab to sit lower, and independent front suspension, giving an almost car-like ride in a truck. Also new for 1960 was a new designation system for trucks made by GM. Gone was the 3100, 3200, and 3600 designations for short 1/2, long 1/2 and 3/4-ton models. Instead, a new scheme would assign a 10, 20, or 30 for 1/2, 3/4, and 1-ton models.

This clean C-10 has been locally and family owned since 1967! The current owner and master certified mechanic has owned it personally since 1971! He upgraded the stock motor to a 350 motor which was rebuilt in 2000 (Only 30K miles ago). The engine has a great, broad torque curve making the truck extremely drivable. The tranny is a wide-ratio 4-speed Muncie mated to the stock 3.08 rear end. Believe it or not, the owner raves about this truck getting 18-22 mpg on the freeway. Pretty good if you ask us!

Exceptional flamed black '69 stepside Chevy. This black beauty is a Brizio design that uses the best of today with the style of yesterday. Combining handling and style, the suspension came first with the fitting of a complete late-model Corvette independent rear suspension . It runs a set of 3.50 gears with Posi. Up front, Roy installed a set of 3-inch dropped Super Bell spindles, reworked disc brakes and a Chevelle power steering unit on a custom Billit tilt column. Halibrand mag-style wheels complete the look. This combination of parts has worked out very well, and the truck drives and rides like a dream.Mostly stock body and for maximum impact the truck has full Art Himsl paint and flames. The only custom touches are the '28 Ford Model A taillights and the beautiful oak flooring in the bed . Under the hood hides a blown 454 rat. This Chevy V8 is fitted with a B&M street blower, a single Demon 750-cfm carburetor and a Crane master cam. It runs 8:1 compression on TRW pistons and stock heads. The ignition is set up with a complete MSD electronics package. A set of Hooker headers and a full Brizio stainless-steel exhaust complete the power pack. A Turbo 400 automatic transmission rounds out the powertrain. Horsepower is thought to be around 475. 1st place winner of its class at the Oakland Grand National Roadster Show, which gives you a good idea of how well this truck is built.

The black SS stripe and Deluxe Black vinyl interior provide a nice contrast with the shiny paint job to make this ’68 Convertible a real head turner. A purist’s dream car, all of the equipment on this Camaro is factory stock. Everything has been rebuilt and maintained as if it just rolled of the showroom floor in 1968. This car is equipped with the complete Super Sport Package. Starting with the engine, it is the original numbers matching 350 cubic inch V-8 with 2.02 double camel hump heads that from factory produced 295 horse power. There are only 2,000 miles on this rebuilt motor. The transmission is the original two speed Power Glide automatic with VIN stamped bell housing. It is equipped with the original 3.08 ratio, twelve bolt, standard non-posi rear end. Heavy duty five leaf springs, new KYB-OEM style gas front and rear shocks and four-piston power front disc brakes help to control this ‘68’s power. The pistons in the brake calipers have been rebuilt and have new stainless steel sleeves. The original 14x6 GM rally wheels are covered in new BF Goodrich TA tires.

The Rally Sport vacuum hide away headlights are fully functional. The manual soft top is black. It is in excellent shape and the rear window shows no fogging or creasing. The interior consists of correct date coded seat belts and fresh new black carpeting. This car has a wood grain center console with working gauges. It also has a functioning TIC TOC TACH in the dash. The original AC Delco radio works. This is a California car with Black and Yellow plates, original owner’s manual and VIN punched Warranty book.

All body panels are straight and smooth. They all line up flawlessly with the SS hood, doors and trunk. All chrome pieces and other trim pieces are in excellent condition. The under carriage is very clean and has no rust. This car is mechanically strong too. Beautiful frame-off restoration, this 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle convertible is a great example of a black car done right. Straight body lines and great paint leave no room for error on this freshly restored Chevelle that saw $13,000 go into paint and prep work alone. The entire car was media blasted, including the suspension and chassis, where it was then powered coated and reassembled. Powered by a recently rebuilt 396 C.I. V8 and a four speed Super T-10 manual transmission this classic convertible has seen every component replaced or rebuilt during the restoration process. The current owner started the restoration four years ago and has seen just 900 miles put on the engine since. The engine and suspension have seen the addition of Edelbrock aluminum heads, a hydraulic 270 camshaft, polyurethane bushings, and a 12-bolt rear-end with 3.42 positraction. It will be difficult to find a black on black Chevelle convertible in better condition than this.

This is one of the most sought after muscle cars in the market, the Chevelle SS. And this one is no exception. Finished in tuxedo black with white stripes and a black interior it is definitely a looker. The paint is on par with a nicely restored muscle and will not disappoint. The stripes are correct and look stunning as well. The clean black buckets finish off the interior and with the hurst race shifter in between it gives it that old school street racer look. The Chevelle is packing a monstrous 454 V8 under the hood with quick shifting M-22 “Rockcrusher” 4 speed manual transmission. This is definitely not just any 1966 C2 coupe. If the name L72 rings a bell then you know this is a truly unique find. Produced in October of 1965, this is one of the first 297 450 HP C2’s produced at A.O. Smith and even has the 450 HP sticker on the air cleaner. As we all know, the 450 was a conservative rating on this fantastic 427 “big block” motor. The L72 was also known for its aluminum pistons and intake. This is the original matching number motor that came with the car when new. Shortly after the 450hp L72 was introduced, it was downgraded to 425HP making this 450 version all the more sought after. The transmission is a Doug Nash 5 speed which was installed at a Chevrolet dealer in the 1970’s.

Some other noteworthy options are the original teak steering wheel(N32), headrests(A82), black leather(trim code 402), and the iconic factory side pipes(N14). The motor and transmission were rebuilt locally 3 years ago by the current owner. The striking Nassau blue exterior perfectly highlights the lines of this Vette.

Exceptionally rare and powerful the 1968 Chevrolet Corvette L-89 convertible is one of the most sought after Corvettes produced and is surely to appreciate in value over time. With only 290 L-89 Corvette convertibles produced in 1968 there is sure to be even less remaining today, making this big block Corvette an enthusiasts dream car. Based on the 435-horsepower L71, the L89 option uses Chevrolet’s rare big-block aluminum heads to further aid the breathing enabled by its solid-lifter cam, aluminum intake and triple 2-barrel Holleys. The L89’s additional power is astonishing and makes each gear change in the manual four-speed transmission a nervous affair as the rear tires struggle to gain traction. Although the horsepower rating for this motor was rated at an impressive 435 horses, many believe the true number was closer to 500 horsepower. Painted British Green (paint code 983) over a black interior (STD) with a white convertible soft top this Corvette still wears its original colors and is in great condition cosmetically. Recent re-chroming of the valve covers, air cleaner, and ignition cover have dressed up an already clean engine bay that holds a number's matching 427 C.I. V8. All of the trim pieces are new and the black carpets and door panel have also just been replaced. With only 85,043 original miles this L-89 is one of the last remaining Corvette convertibles of its kind.

The 1950s saw more significant changes in the Chevrolet than had occurred in any previous decade since the 1920s & 1930s.
The big change really started on January 1, 1949. That's when the first truly new body design for Chevrolet was introduced since post World War II. Until 1949 all automobile manufacturers were still building and selling basically prewar cars and trucks, and selling all they could make.
One of the most striking changes in the 1949, 1950, 1951 and 1952 body designs was the noticeably lower hood in relation to the now much higher front fenders.
For the 1950 Chevrolet production year which started on January 7, 1950, only slight changes were made to the 1949 cars. Chevrolet took a sound product and refined it's appearance. Clearly looking for an upscale image for all it's new models.

If you have been looking to pick up a clean and well-maintained Z, then this sporty black 260 is worth a look. It comes to us from a local owner who is moving out of the area and needs to part with it. It was recently serviced appx 2000 miles ago and sports a rebuilt 260 motor.

Over the years many minor upgrades have been performed. Some of those include the heads being tuned and tweaked by Rebello racing. Completely replaced suspension including Eibach springs, urethane bushings, and motorsport swaybars. The current owner also had the exhaust system redone.

This model was sold in the United States for the 1974 model year only, but was available in other countries until 1978. The engine was enlarged over that of the 240Z with a longer stroke to 2.6 L. In the U.S., federal emissions regulations forced a reduction in ignition timing and compression ratio, resulting in a lower power output (140 hp) for the 260Z's despite the additional displacement, whereas in other countries the power output increased to 165 bhp (123 kW; 167 PS). A 3-speed automatic transmission was an option, and the 4-speed manual remained standard.

Due to its relatively low price compared to other foreign sports cars of the time (Jaguar, BMW, Porsche, etc.), it became popular in the United States and was a major success for the Nissan Motor Corporation, which at the time sold cars in North America under the name Datsun. The 240Z also broadened the image of Japanese car-makers beyond their econobox success.

The Z is still to this day one of the most recognizable designs from that 70’s and it’s formula for success makes it a classic to this day.

Italian bodied and Ford powered this 1974 DeTomaso Pantera is something beyond a "muscle car" or "pony car" and speaks to its Italian name which means "Panther". Its sharp angular body and low profile is similar to that of many European cars of its time, but behind the front seat sits an American powered 351 C.I. Cleveland V8 built by Ford. This particular Pantera is believed to be one of just 17 or 18 supposed "Super Panteras" built by Hall Pantera located in Los Angeles, CA area. According to the Hall Pantera website and their November 2011 newsletter, "The Super Pantera were cars built for special clients that wanted the best of the best. I believe we built 17 of this magnificent Pantera's. The cars had unique interiors, custom paint, and aluminum engines with lots of horsepower." Although we have been unable to 100% confirm the validity of this Pantera being a "Hall Ultra Pantera", the previous owner claims it was and the heirs of the Hall Pantera company cannot confirm or deny the possibility. The car has many of the components found in a Hall Ultra Pantera and certainly matches the exterior styling found on the "Super Panteras" with regards to the GT- 5S package.

Painted a custom metallic silver over a two-tone black and tan interior this Pantera is a refreshing take on the plethora of red Panteras that seem to pop up on the market. The body is extremely straight and the paint is free of any noticeable cosmetic defects. The stock engine featured deep-breathing heads patterned after the very successful Boss 302 design, 4-barrel carburetion and 4-bolt main bearing caps. The 351 C.I. Cleveland V8 was mated to a ZF fully synchronized 5-speed transaxle with limited slip, and rated at 310 horsepower in stock form, although this Pantera is believed to be modified in excess of 500 horsepower. All of the expected race-inspired components are present: fully independent suspension with upper and lower A-Arms, coil-over shock absorbers, front and rear sway bars, 4-wheel power disc brakes, and rack-and-pinion steering.

Ford ended their importation of Panteras to the US in 1975, having sold roughly 5,500 cars in the United States, so rest assured this is not a car you are likely to see on the road. With low production numbers and a unique design it is a safe bet that the DeTomaso Pantera will continue to appreciate in value over time. Whether you like the wide angular body, the large rear tires, or the mid-rear mounted Ford engine this Pantera will surely turn heads and bring a smile to your face.

The top of this dodge has been chopped 4 inches and the rear window was sunk to create a flowing line. The upper hood was lengthened to create the hood scoop. Wheel wells were flared on all four corners. Doors and trunk handles were removed and Unkl Al's remote system was added.

The 1959 Ford Skyliner was a technical marvel and still draws a crowd today when onlookers see the retractable hart top emerge from the rear deckled. This Skyliner has been family owned since new and still drives great today with no mechanic problems, including the infamous hardtop convertible itself. Still wearing its original paint color in Inca Gold, which comes off as a pale yellow, this Skyliner has been kept untouched for a number of years and is in need of some cosmetic reconditioning. This plum 1966 Galaxie is like no other, first off the recently installed 390 has quite the gallop. The car sounds great with the mild cam and full flowing exhaust making for a mean sounding beast when the throttle cable is given any sort of tug to open up that Holly 750 Double pumper. The rear end is an open ford 9" with 3.08's, which match up perfectly with the 5-speed TKO transmission. The newly installed performance hydraulic clutch takes a bit of pressure to get to the floor but its built to last and built to hold the power of the built up 390. Almost Everything works on the car including all electrical, the only thing not working on this car is a classic clock. The interior is very nice and looks new. The door panels are straight and fit as the originals would, the seats have been redone and have no tears or cracks. The headliner looks to be redone and the dash looks immaculate. The weather stripping appears to be all new creating a tight seal. And the stainless all looks great! This car is a real street machine that you can take to shows and is ready to hit the highway.

Here is one of those fastbacks that you don’t come across very often. This springtime yellow cream puff has been in the Bay Area its whole life and under current adult ownership for the last 27 years! As you see it now, was pretty much as it was when it rolled off the assembly line in San Jose, CA. This is a true survivor car. As you know cars like this are getting harder and harder to find.

The lacquer paint job was done in 1982 and still looks wonderful. It still sports its original 289 motor and C-4 transmission. More recently, the following items were addressed:

- New fuel tank and fuel lines, new drum brakes, rebuilt carburetor, new radiator hoses, complete cooling system flush.

- New carpeting, rally wheels, original style GT exhaust, and floor pans.

Moving to the underside of the car, it is completely rust free and has aged just as well as the rest of this car has. With the exception of the pony seats and the door panels which were recently replced, EVERYTHING else is all original and you will be amazed when you see how the headliner, dash paint, door panel paint, and dash pad have held up over the years. You won’t find any aftermarket parts or stereos here!

What a beauty! This very clean and mostly original 1966 red on red with a white top mustang convertible is a great summer driver. The paint and interior are showing some age but are in pretty good shape overall. The chrome is still bright as well as the pony emblems are still there and in nice shape. The convertible is almost new and is power and operates freely and without binding. Overall a very clean and nicely taken care of classic pony car

The 289 2bbl purrs to life with a pump of the gas and a turn of the key. No extra effort needed and the glides slides into gear just as smoothly. The brakes have recently been upgraded to front discs and they perform greatly to stop this mustang. The car rides as one would expect of a 1966 Mustang with no unusual squeaks, rattles, or grinds. The dual exhaust has also recently been replaced as have the rear tips to give it that GT look. It shows no signs of a tired motor and is very pleasant to drive, rain or shine.

The current owner has loved and cared for his “baby” for the past 12 years and has enjoyed her and is now looking to move onto the next toy. He is only the third owner and it has spent its life as a local bay area car to the best of his knowledge. He has always kept up on maintenance and garaged and covered it its whole time it has been in his care.

This 1967 fastback mustang has all the great look and feel of the more expensive versions without the price tag. Finished in blue and changed to a black interior from the original blue as the owner felt as though it was a little too much for the vehicle. It gives it a nice contrast now with the blue on black. The paint was recently done, and it shows, it shines bright with a great depth to it. The chrome work appears bright and not tarnished. And the engine bay which houses the peppy I6 was recently detailed and gone through to ensure it looked as good under the hood as it did on the outside. The interior was recently refreshed as well with the headliner, seats, and carpets being replaced. The dash and instruments appear to be original or close to it and while showing some age are overall fairly nice. The only thing needed to complete this interior is a radio and you in the driver’s seat!

The 200 I6 which has 120hp and 156 ft/lb of torque is what is purring between this stallions fenders. It’s so smooth and quiet that it’s almost like driving an electric car when you start it up. And it may not be the fastest but it sure gets you where you want to go without getting you in trouble. All that power is transferred to the wheels by the factory floor mounted 3 speed manual Saginaw transmission which is all you need for this Inline 6. It shifts smoothly and without grinds and performs just as needed in this beautiful mustang. This is what some may call a "bare bones" car, meaning it is a simply optioned vehicle. Considering of manual steering and manual drum brakes all the way around. Once you get going the manual steering is almost forgotten and the drum brakes perform well and have no problems getting this pony to stop.

This mustang was built in Dearborn, Michigan and was ordered to San Jose, CA. It is believed that it has spent its entire life as a local car with the only things being changed the interior color as well as a change to a darker blue exterior. The current owner bought the vehicle as an all original car and has had the interior, paint, engine bay freshen up, and all maintenance performed recently and to bring the car back to a nice driver quality muscle car.

The third generation Thunderbird was restyled in favor of a more squared-off appearance, which was mostly evident when viewing the car from the side or rear. Hinting at its roots in the previous generation Thunderbird that it was evolved from, the new model retained a similar grille design with dual headlights. As before, the new Thunderbird continued to be offered in hardtop, convertible, and Landau versions. The 300 horsepower (220 kW) 390 cu in (6.4 L) FE V8 continued as the standard engine for the Thunderbird while a higher compression, 330 horsepower (250 kW) version of the engine was optional. Both V8s were paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. Also new for 1965 were standard front disc brakes.

Even though it was the last year of the generation, 1966 saw a stylistic revision for the Thunderbird highlighted by a new egg-crate style grille with a large Thunderbird emblem at its center and a new rear fascia with the brake lights restyled to appear as one unit. Engine choices were also revised for 1966. The base version of the 390 cu in was upgraded to 315hp and the upgraded motor was a 428 cu putting out 345hp.

It has been called the most beautiful car ever made by many, including the likes of Enzo Ferrari. It has been displayed in the Museum of Modern Art and been sought after by car enthusiasts everywhere. There might be no other car that appeals to so many different people as the Jaguar E-Type. This 1962 XKE Convertible is a series 1 model which has become the most valuable and desirable of the lot. Purchased by the current owner in 1976 this Jaguar has seen just two owners and is a fine example of an older restoration that still shows well today. Painted a deep red over a black and aluminum trimmed interior this E-Type has a very straight body with good chrome and a black soft top. Powered by a 3.8L inline six cylinder engine producing 265 horsepower through a 4 speed manual transmission this Jaguar will pull speeds up to 150mph. The owner of this 1962 XKE has upgraded the 4 speed gearbox with the likes of a 1964 sychromesh unit that came equipped on the 4.2L engines which has allowed for a syncro equipped first gear. Debuting on October 5, 1955, the Continental Mark II carried a price of $10,000 - fifty percent more than the most costly Cadillac of the same year. With a long hood, short deck and a trunk sculpted to hold the "continental" spare in a semi-upright position, the new Conti captured the proportions and sporty yet elegant spirit of its handsome predecessor, and succeeded in becoming the "modern classic" that Ford officials had hoped for. The embodiment of the "long and low" look of the time, the Continental's frame was specially engineered for a very low profile and required a three-joint drive shaft. Despite its lowness, the Mark II actually provided more headroom than the regular 1956 Lincolns.

The build quality of the Continental Mark II was impeccable, rivaling the careful construction lavished on cars like Rolls Royce. The materials, too, were the best, and critically inspected at every stage of each car's construction, after having passed severe quality and durability tests. For instance, exterior chrome was subjected to a 10-day salt spray test. Scottish leather was used in the upholstery of each car. Transmissions were tested prior to being attached to engines, and then the completed units were subjected to a rigorous dynamometer test. Front sheet metal was test fitted to the body before final assembly and painting. And only lacquer was used in the painting process. Fourteen quality control stations were placed in the assembly plant at critical stages. When completed each car was, of course, exhaustively road tested before release for delivery.

But the quality story didn't end at the dealership. A field service program ensured that any complaints or defects were rapidly corrected for the customer. Plus, a team of factory service engineers was dispatched throughout the country to personally investigate and remedy any serious or repeat complaints.

With its high price and slow-moving production line, the Mark II was never expected to be a high-volume moneymaker for Ford, but was instead intended to be the flagship for Lincoln's re-entry into the luxury car field. It likely never made a penny for the company but succeeded admirably in establishing Lincoln in the top rank of U.S. cars again. Production for 1956 and 1957 totaled 2,994 cars. Today, the Continental Mark II is an avidly collected automobile and has been designated a Milestone Car by the Milestone Car Society. They enjoyed a very good survival rate, much like early Thunderbirds, because people recognized that they were true "special interest" cars from the day of their introduction.

If you are known by the company you keep, then the Mark II deserves high marks. A wide swath of the rich and famous in the 1950's owned one, including Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Louie Prima, Dwight Eisenhower, Barry Goldwater, Spike Jones, Nelson Rockefeller, Henry J. Kaiser, Howard Johnson and the Shah of Iran.

Though the Continental Mark II was met with a great deal of interest, at 10,000 dollars in 1955 the car was too expensive to attract much of a following. Ford executives originally planned to build about 2,000 Mark II's a year for a period of five years, and the model exceeded their projections early on. Some 2,550 Mark II's were built during the 1956 model year, but by the end of the year sales slowed to a trickle. A very slightly revised 1957-model Mark II was put into production, but only 444 were built, and the model and the Continental division itself were abruptly cancelled.

This 1964 Lincoln Continental is a great example of what an original car should look like. Besides regular maintanance this beauty is a survivor car.
The wheelbase was stretched 3 in (76 mm) in 1964 to improve the ride and add rear-seat legroom, while the roofline was squared off at the same time. The dash was also redesigned, doing away with the pod concept. Flat window glass was for additional interior space. The gas tank access door, which had been concealed at the rear of the car in the rear grille, was now placed on the driver's side rear quarter panel. The exterior "Continental" script was changed and the rear grille replaced by a simple horizontally elongated Continental star on the rear deck lid. 36,297 were sold that year.

This 250SL, as you can see from the price, is not your perfect trailer queen. It is a salvaged title car due to theft according to the owner, but that being said, still drives great and would make an excellent project car or weekend driver. For those of you looking for something which you can tinker with and restore, then this may be the perfect candidate. There are some signs of overspray on parts of the rubber moldings and the hood and doors have a slightly different shade of white then the rest of the car.

The car more than makes up for some of its cosmetic flaws with the way it drives. The current owner recently spent over $5,000 on the engine. All in all, everything is here, including the iconic pagoda hardtop. All this 250 needs is a little TLC and this could be a wonderful weekend cruiser.

The 2.5 liter 250 SL was introduced at the 1967 Geneva Motor Show with production commencing in December 1966 and ending in January 1968. The short one-year production run makes the 250 SL the rarest of the W 113 series cars. The 250 SL retained the stiffer suspension and sportier feel of the early SLs, but provided significantly improved agility with a new engine and rear disk brakes. Range also improved with increased fuel tank capacity from 17.2 US gal to 21.7 US gal, and resiliency improved with a new cooling water tank ('round top') with increased capacity from 2.9 US gal to 3.4 US gal. Like its predecessor, the 250 SL was offered with a 4-speed automatic transmission, a 4-speed manual transmission, and the desirable ZF 5-speed manual transmission. For the first time, an optional limited slip differential was also available. Of the 5,196 250 SLs produced, more than a third were sold in the US.

         We have a gorgeous butter cream on tan 450SL that is so smooth it truly is like butter! This is definitely the most iconic roadster of the 70's and 80's and we have one of the finest examples. This particular SL is in great shape for its age and shows very well for a driver or a weekend cruiser. The interior is fitted with sheepskin covers to protect the almost new seats underneath. The chrome and paint are in excellent condition and still shine bright from the repaint that was completed 15 years ago. The engine compartment is very original, probably still sporting some original 1977 grease. The undercarriage is free from excess drips or leaks and is rust free and it definitely shows.
          The numbers matching original 4.5L V8 purrs to life and settles into a mild hum which sounds nice, though not overpowering. The transmission is solid and firm which with no hesitation of shifts. The four wheel power disc brakes help this roadster come to a firm yet gentle stop and the power steering is smooth and without binding or any issues. You can truly tell this SL was properly taken care of and well maintained not only in physical appearance but in mechanical as well and it is a true beauty and nice to see in such a mellow yet complimenting color combination.
          This 450 is an original California Bay Area vehicle that has been passed down in one family and has stayed in their care his whole life. They have carefully and lovingly maintained it while in their car and it is apparent. They have made sure to keep it rust free and mechanically sound for years to come.

It's difficult to sum up the superiority of the 2004 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG in a few words. Its standard equipment, hidden six-stack CD, air conditioning, intelligent 5-speed automatic transmission and on and on , could fill this review. Many of its special features set the bar for others, but our tester also had a navigation system, voice-operated cell phone, satellite radio, electronic trunk closer, and hands-free communication system. Its performance and handling prowess is unmatched by any other sports sedan. It's a full-size car with Porsche/Ferrari zip. They, however, do not carry five in comfort or have a trunk that can swallow two suites' worth of luggage, plus golf bags. Yet for all its awesome power this car is easy to drive around town. It doesn't jerk those inside. Comfort is very good, considering those monster tires. Fuel economy of 21 mpg on the highway is better than a wheezy 6-cylinder Jeep Wrangler tested not long ago. Bottom line: This E55 is a supercar. It's an executive hot rod, the ultimate car to own if you have more than one friend and both power and prestige are your desire. The Plymouth Duster introduced in 1970 was all Valiant from the cowl forward, but the rest of the car's sheet metal, save door skins, was completely different. The design incorporated a semi-fastback roof and a special rear valance with twin horizontal taillights, unusual for having no bezels. The door glass was operated by a totally new regulator mechanism, required to fit the much more radical tumblehome (reduced side glass radius), and the windshield was more steeply raked. For 1970 only, a small Valiant badge went on the front fenders just above the Duster badge.

The 1970 Duster was available in two models — the standard Duster and a performance-oriented Duster 340. Engine options were 198 cu in (3.2 L) and 225 cu in (3.7 L) versions of Chrysler's Slant Six, as well as the 318 cu in (5.2 L) and 340 cu in (5.6 L) LA-series V8s.

This sporty blue Duster comes to us from it’s 3rd owner who has owned it for the last 35 years! The odometer reads 85,000 miles and according to the owner it has only spun over once . Do the math and you get a very nice un-molested Duster with tons of curb appeal. The vinyl top and interior are all original and the car was painted sometime in the 1990s.

G T O........Need we say more? The Pontiac Motor Division is said to have givin birth to the "Muscle Car" with the release of the GTO in the mid-sixties. The GTO was basically a violation of GM policy limiting the A-body line to a maximum engine displacement of 330 cu in (5.4 L). Since the GTO was an option package and not standard equipment, it could be considered to fall into a loophole in the policy. Pontiac General Manager Elliot "Pete" Estes approved the new model, although sales manager Frank Bridge, who did not believe it would find a market, insisted on limiting initial production to no more than 5,000 cars. Had the model been a failure, Estes likely would have been reprimanded. As it turned out, it was a great success.

The 1967 GTO had taken on some changes from its previous year models. Some of which were a chrome mesh texture in the grille, revised rocker panel trim that now covered the bottom part of the doors and new taillights that consisted of four narrow rectangles on either side of the car. Among the other changes for '67 was a new three-speed automatic transmission that could be operated manually through a Hurst "dual-gate" shifter and for the first time, Pontiac considered the GTO as its own separate model and not as an option package for the Tempest. This matching numbers GTO was originally sold out of San Francisco, Ca. From the receipts we have, it seems it was sold from Winters Pontiac. The original owner sold it to the second owner in 1983 and he kept it until 1992, rebuilt the motor and then sold it to the current owner. After purchasing, the current owner had the entire interior upholstery redone, replaced front end rocker arms as well as having it painted the factory red color in 2008. This GTO was driven only once a week from 1992 until 2000, then stored and covered in their barn until 2008, then moved to the garage from 2008 until present. We have a gorgeous Chiffon White with Cadbury Brown Porsche 911 Cabriolet Carrera that has recently come into our inventory. This beautiful example of Porsche at its finest is in excellent shape and the paint and interior truly show it. The off white Chiffon White is a refreshingly unique color and pairs very well with the almost black Cadbury Brown leather interior which feels and shows as if it were a 2004 rather than a 1984. The paint was redone in 1996 by the previous owner as was the dark brown soft top and carpets replaced at the same time. They also replaced the rubber gaskets around headlights, doors, windows, and replaced the windshield. The rest of the interior is believed to be original and looks great for what it is.

The engine is original to the car and no major service or rebuild have ever been needed. We have records for maintenance records from 2000 and 2002 from service work performed at Michael Stead Porsche in Walnut Creek, CA. The Porsche 911 was originally a European Delivery car that was designated for California sale. It was delivered to Martin Johnson Porsche Audi in Oakland, CA after European Delivery. The Porsche 911 is a sports car icon. Keeping essentially the same shape for almost 60 years, Porsche has been content to make only incremental, progressive changes from year to year, preferring to keep buyers interested by constantly refining the performance envelope of the car.

The 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera represented the last version of the 911 to still be based upon the original design that dated back to the mid 1960’s. In the mind of many Porsche enthusiast, this is the 911 in it’s most pure form. I think all of us can remember having a poster of a 911 on our wall at some point growing up.

In the base model a 3.2 liter 6 cylinder engine was mounted in the rear of the car (as with all 911’s), and it produced 214 horsepower and 195 lb-feet of torque. This was an improvement of 12 horsepower and 10 lb-feet of torque over the previous year. This amount of power might not seem very impressive from today’s perspective, but in the late 1980’s it was close to the top of the heap, and the lightweight construction of the 911, combined with its finely-tuned driving dynamics contributed to a very quick car that was solid through the corners.

This Guard’s Red 911 Carrera comes to us from a local owner who has made numerous, subtle improvements to the car over the 10 years that he has owned the car. This is a fine example of once again the gorgeous color combinations offered by Porsche. This particular 911 is offered in a Grand Prix white exterior over a blue leather interior. The paint shows very well and it fairly free of scratches/dents and it would be hard to find a flaw. The interior while showing some age to it is very nice, the door panels and plastics all feel fresh and new with no signs of being sun faded or brittle also the seats are still full and comfortable and accented with white piping to give a nice contrast to the all blue interior. The 1996 Porsche Turbo naturally inherited much from the 993-series

And though the rear fenders bulged 2.3 inches wider than on other 993s, the front fenders were exactly the same. So, too, the trunklid, roof, doors and windows. But the windshield was slightly larger, and a new lower front fascia presented three large air slots serving the brakes, engine oil cooler, and A/C evaporator.

Engineers strove to optimize aerodynamics and minimize weight with the latest Porsche Turbo. The former goal explained the regular-width front fenders, while the latter was helped by the simplified AWD. Also trimming heft were new 18-inch aluminum wheels with hollow spokes, a Porsche-patented design that saved a total 24 pounds in nasty unsprung weight.

Rim widths were eight inches fore and 10 aft. Respective tires were P225/40s and P285/30s, all Z-rated Pirelli P Zero. Brakes were naturally upgraded -- what else from Porsche? -- going to vented and cross-drilled discs measuring an inch wider and a massive 12.7 inches in diameter, adorned by trendy red-painted calipers.

After spinning the turbines, exhaust gases passed through a large intercooler on each side, then merged to feed the cylinders. Each turbo had a wastegate that limited maximum boost to 11.6 psi. Turbo efficiency was unusually good, because the engine bay was always mildly pressurized by the engine cooling fan.

Also noted a number of premium upgrades for the Turbo version of Porsche's latest M64 engine. Cylinders, for example, were forged for strength under pressure rather than cast, and their cooling fins were machined to optimize airflow. Cylinder heads, pistons and conrods were all reinforced, as usual with force-fed engines, and the valve rockers added tiny hydraulic valve lifters for easier adjustment. Even the cooling fan wasn't overlooked, geared to run 15 percent faster than in other Porsche 911s.

No less care was lavished on the rest of the powertrain. Like the C4, the Porsche Turbo came only with a six-speed manual transmission, but the four intermediate gears got shorter ratios to enhance acceleration, while sixth got "longer" (numerically lower) gearing for quieter, more economical high-speed cruising. Because the front differential left no room for the usual vacuum booster, the Turbo employed hydraulic brakes with a compact electric pump providing pressure at 2,300-2,600 psi. The system also served the clutch, thereby reducing driver fatigue in the everyday grind.

Carrera 4, it was no less thoroughly fettled than previous versions. The hallmark wide-body styling returned, but the fixed rear wing was now more platypus than whale tail. Porsche 959's dual sequential puffers, which produced disappointing turbo lag, each bank of three cylinders had its own small-diameter, low-inertia KKK turbo located quite close to the heads.

Here's your chance to purchase 1 of 1365 Standard GT350 fastbacks that Shelby produced in 1966. This example with the Shelby serial number of 1073 was ordered Red with no stripes and shipped to Paul Miller Ford Inc. of Lexington, KY on 2/28/66. The current owner purchased #1073 approximately 7 yrs ago with the intentions to restore the Shelby to its original livery. The last two pictures show the state the car on that day he bought it. You can see the roll bar that was installed and the old style Auto meter gauges that lead us to believe the car was modified for drag racing. Over the next 7yrs the owner brought it back to its original state. In 2005, the car was painted the original G code Candy Apple Red paint with the stripe delete option. He was careful to not over-paint the car thus leaving the undercarriage exposed with the original Red Oxide Primer revealing the pristine floor pans void of any signs of cancer. In the trunk area there was some small panels that were beyond repair and were replaced. The interior is now period correct which includes the original seat belts and correct gauges installed. Under the hood a period correct 306 bhp 329 torque, K-code 289 cu in V-8 resides with only 5k miles since rebuild. Its topped off with the correct 715 cfm Holley and Shelby intake manifold in which the air fuel mixture is activated by the solid lifter valve train breathing through the infamous Tri-Y headers. Its backed by the venerable Toploader 4-spd transmission and distributes those ponies via the 389 to 1 ration 9 inch rear end. The steering box was recently rebuilt just 500 miles ago.

Built at Ford's Dearborn plant and completed by A.O. Smith in Livonia, Michigan for Shelby Automotive, Inc. Delivered June 20,1969 by S&C Ford in San Francisco, CA. Original owner was Mark Zeis, a Ford Executive.

Current owner purchased the car in Chico, CA in October 1975 from the second owner who bought it in 1969 from Mark Zeis. He actually sold the car and regretted it! He was able to find the car and repurchased it in 1996!

Engine is a new service short block with rebuilt heads. All numbers are correct. Engine was installed January 2002 and the car was rewired with the correct harnesses. You can see the Ford numbers still on the harnesses! Tim Morgan and crew at Morgan's Machine in Walnut Creek, CA restored the heads, balanced and blueprinted the NOS Ford short block. The interior is all original, except for the carpet. Even the Motorala AM 8 Track stereo still works! All glass is original from 1969. This car was number 1945 of the 1969/1970 production run, only 1534 GT500 Fastbacks were built.

Interesting Note: This car is responsible for the exemption to California smog check requirements enjoyed by the cars of the Muscle Car era. (Pre 1976) It was purchased in 1996 from Maurice Johanesson, the local State Senator. After he paid to make the car smog legal for transfer, he authorized the CA law exempting older cars from the Smog checks!

This 1923 Star Touring finished in a black exterior and a black interior is a classic, yet underrated touring car. This particular vehicle is in exceptional shape considering it's age and time since restoration. The paint while older, still has a deep black shine and the interior besides showing signs of being in storage is void of cracks and still full and comfortable to sit on even for extended drives. 1960 Triumph TR3A

In 1957 the Triumph TR3A was introduced as a replacement for its predecessor, the TR3. The 3A featured improved design and mechanics, resulting in a top speed of 105 mph. The TR3A was a reliable vehicle; this was proven in 1960 during the grueling Le Mans 24 Hour race where three cars were entered and finished, placing ninth, eleventh and fifteenth.

There were a total of 48,309 TR3's built during 1958-1962; it was the first series production car to be fitted with front disc brakes. The 1954-60 TR's were the world's most successful rally car.

The vehicle featured a four-cylinder, 95 horsepower engine. With an overall weight of the vehicle tipping the scale at 2200 pounds, meaning horsepower to weight ratio was excellent. To this day, the car remains competitive in SCCA and vintage racing.
