Our Owners

Specialty Sales owners Steve Barlow and Andy Reid have been involved in classic cars almost all their lives, forming the most knowledgeable, experienced, and honest team in the classic car industry.

Steve Barlow

When he was five or six years old, Steve used to cut out pictures of "concept" cars from magazines to add to his scrapbook. Each year, he and his brothers waited breathlessly for dealers to unveil the new car models.

All his life, Steve has been a specialty car enthusiast. He began restoring cars in high school, and has driven and collected vintage cars from all over the world, including show quality frame-off restorations. He bought his first Mercedes because he couldn’t find a Corvette in investment grade condition, and now specializes in both Mercedes Benz and American cars.

Andy Reid

As a kid, Andy remembers waking up on Saturday mornings to the sound of his neighbor's Ferrari downshifting for a curve in front of the house. He would lie in bed and dream of a future surrounded by powerful precision automobiles.

So, naturally, Andy built his career around cars with attitude. He started off selling Jaguar, Lotus and MG in 1971 and quickly progressed into management. In addition to his extensive classic and muscle car experience, he has supervised Porsche, BMW, Mercedes and Lamborghini new and used car departments.

First car: '59 Austin Healey 100-6
Favorite car of all time: '63 Studebaker Avanti R-3, supercharged
Currently drives: '97 Porsche 993 Cabriolet

Quote: "If you ever stop glancing back at your car after you've parked it, it's time for a change."
