BR>The 2008 911 GT3 RS is a lightweight version of the GT3, which in itself is already a stripped-down, race ready version of the standard Porsche Carrera. The RS is lighter than the normal GT3 thanks in part to the use of a carbon fiber hood panel and its adjustable rear wing. The RS also comes with wider rear fenders like those from the 911 Carrera 4 covering the increased rear track. The car shares its 415-hp flat six and six-speed manual gearbox with the regular GT3, but with its weight reductions should outperform the regular GT3. With 0-62mph achieved in just 4.0 seconds the RS is a tenth of a second quicker than the regular GT3. The RS was offered with black or silver paint standard, but buyers paid extra to have their cars delivered in shades of orange or green. Here we have a race ready Porsche 911 with daily drivability that will leave you looking for reasons to take it for a spin.
