The Camaro Super Sport was not made available in 1973, but in its place was the Luxury Touring model, or LT as most refer to it. Most of the LT upgrades were built around appearance and comfort in nature, but this V8 still packs a muscle car punch. Some of the most significant upgrades were special badges, Hide-A-Way windshield wipers, dual sport mirrors, 14x7 Rally wheels, power steering, deluxe seats and plenty of simulated wood grain for the interior. The standard engine for the 1973 Camaro LT was the Turbo-Fire 350ci V8 with a two barrel carburetor unleashing 175 horsepower. With only 10k Miles on the rebuilt engine this Camaro is ready to remember the 1970's again.
Options and Accessories:
- Restored in 2006
- Paint taken down to bare metal
- Sport 4-spoke steering wheel (RPO NK4) became standard equipment for the 1973
- Door impact beams were stronger for increased side impact protection
- Recovery systems were added to prevent expansion coolant loss.
- Non-Rally Sport models had rubber-faced vertical bumper guards, stronger mounting brackets, tubular reinforcing braces, and a support bar behind the bumper.
- Full-foam rear seats with 1-piece backrest replaced the spring-style of earlier years
