This particular car was originally delivered to Gilboy Ford/Mercury Inc in Allentown, PA on 05/27/1968, It is finished in correct Lime Gold Metallic over Black Knitted Décor interior, Powered by its original R-Code 428-4V Cobra Jet V8, C6 Automatic Transmission, This car is generously optioned with the GT Equipment Group, Visibility Group, Sport Deck Rear Seat, Power Steering, Power Front Disc Brakes, Tilt-Away Steering Column, AM Radio, Interior Décor Group, Tinted Glass, Tachometer/Trip Odometer and Air Conditioning. This example is one of only 1,053 GT500KR Fastbacks produced and one of only 299 that were equipped with Air Conditioning. This GT500 KR underwent a complete photo documented, frame-off, nut and bolt, rotisserie restoration in 2005 by Worldwide Muscle Cars in Oklahoma.
