This fantastic automobile has been resurrected from a 1961 Ferrari GTE and rebodied as a 1957, 250/500 Testarossa. The Ferrari red with black leather Ferrari is incredible. The motor is an original rebuilt 300+ hp Colombo V12 with an original 4 speed transmission with reverse lock out feature. This incredibly powerful power plant is resting in a hand made racing frame behind the original front 1961 GTE front clip and is surrounded in a most gorgeous hand made all alloy body by DK Engineering from the UK. Below is just a fraction of the information regarding the complete restoration and creation which is photo documented and laden with receipts and facts.

The show ready Ferrari is extremely fast and nimble. All work, restoration and fabrication is absolutely top notch. Points of interest are as fallows; Factory Interno Colombo outside plug, 14 stud, V1-12, two cam, dry sump making 300+HP at 7,500 rpm, rebuilt with correct period instruments, shift gate with reverse lock out, original Nardi alloy wood pegged steering wheel, rubber mats, mirror, wind screen with correct hardware, a matching set of spider inside lace protruding nipple Borrani chrome wire wheels with 650/16” Englebert Michelins’, engine has competition valves and cams, engine converted to 15 quart dry sump lubrication system, new forged pistons and rods built to 9.2-1 compression, ported and polished heads, six 365 GTB Daytona Weber 40 DCN twin choke carburetors with chrome velocity stacks, push button fire safety system, 275 GTB 4-wheel servo assisted disc braking system, a 30 gallon hand made aluminum fuel tank, handmade exhaust manifolds, handmade intake manifolds and the original 1961, 4 speed gear box with reverse lock out feature. This is an absolutely stunning, no expense spared, award winning car rebodied by DK Engineering in the UK that can and will win awards for its beauty.
